Should the flaming forum be wiped out?

My joke was terrible.. Problem with me I have more splits than a banana skin when it comes to personality. When I first joined CNCNZ I was a nutcase with a strange sense of humour. 4 years on I'm more mature in my approach, but the nutcase inside me still exists.

 

Moving to the cnc-boards has given me an insight into how other forums are run. The different people who are there and how they differ to other people. And best of all, it's another one of those rare forums where flaming doesn't exist. When you look at that non-existant happening, the forums seem brighter and much more lively... which is one of the reasons I decided that the flamers forum should go.

I am two minds about it. Why go and set out to flame others? What does it achieve? Sure, it is justified as being fun, and at least here I haven't seen anything particularly malicious, but even so do we want to be seen as supporting it? On the other hand if there is a forum where people know what to expect going in, it would keep anything that is even potentially harmful in an area where only someone looking for trouble would find it.
