Sonic 292 Posted February 22, 2013 Hot on the heels of Sony's announcement of the PlayStation 4, Electronic Arts have announced some staff lay-offs that have affected studios in Los Angeles and Montreal. EA would not specifically name any teams or studios, but multiple sources say that they've shut down Visceral Montreal. But when it is not possible to redeploy a team, we soften the tough decisions with assistance. This week we let some people go in Los Angeles, Montreal as well as in some smaller locations. These are good people and we have offered outplacement services and severance packages to ease their transition to a new job. You can read more about this story on Kotaku right here. PurpleGaga27 37 Posted February 22, 2013 (edited) I hope until EA_CIRE tell us sooner enough about this, I am sure Victory Games will not be affected by the layoffs. Edited February 22, 2013 by zocom7 Share this post Link to post
