I thought mobility is killing the PC or should I say the Internet boom dependency?

Great article, though I still think the ascent of mobile platform popularity is the main reason for the decline in sales. Most of my non-techie or PC gamer friends would rather have a smartphone that is powerful and nice or a good laptop or tablet.

There's no incentive for a PC, which is the biggest factor. But the platform plateu I didn't really consider as an X factor as much until now.
