Graphics shuttering in Bluestacks App Player -- need help

Recommended Posts

Well the good news is that Android OS, the Bluestacks App Player (aka Android OS emulator) and Plants vs Zombies 2 are free to download and play. However the system requirements for the Bluestacks App Player and other Android OS emulators may be misleading as they should have mentioned (for all other apps) one other requirement that even a virtual Mac OS X require as well to play on a PC, an Intel CPU with virtualization technology (aka VT-x) in which none of my rigs have! I cannot buy a new PC just to play that.

So I installed Bluestacks in XP, downloaded all necessary components to run and then downloaded PvZ2. Once I started to load Bluestacks, it plays in a window or full screen but once I played the game, the graphics slowed down with lags, the screen shutters for no apparent reason and I was hearing choppy sounds. I mean I was playing it on my best rig (with a GeForce 550 Ti card) and a Sound Blaster Audigy.

I am not sure if either one of you has attempted to play a virtual Android OS on your PC. I am wondering if there's a way to lower the graphic settings to prevent this shuttering issue and the lags -- plus the fact that using the PC keyboard in Bluestacks doesn't appear to work in PvZ2 unfortunately except for other apps.

And yes, who knows when PvZ2 will come out to PC (via Origin)........
