Plants vs Zombies Adventures is shutting down Oct 2014

Recommended Posts

This is sad, after some time Popcap reduced its staff by a hefty margin after PvZ Garden Warfare was released.

This is the message from their Facebook page:

We are sorry to say that Plants vs. Zombies Adventures is being retired from Facebook on October 12, 2014. It is always a sad decision to stop development on a game we have put so much love into, and we share your disappointment, as we too are gamers and fans, first and foremost.

Is there any other version I can still play?

No, this game was created for Facebook only, and there are no current plans to bring it to alternate platforms. However, there is still lots of fun to be had in the ever-expanding universe of Plants vs. Zombies!

PvZ 2 is free-to-play on iOS and Android devices, and we’re still adding new content, as well as daily challenges! PvZ Garden Warfare brings a multiplayer battle experience to your favorite neighborhood—play as Plants or Zombies on Xbox One, Xbox 360, or PC today! And of course, the original Plants vs. Zombies is still available on just about every device you can imagine!

And don’t forget about our classics still available for free online play on Facebook: Bejeweled Blitz, Solitaire Blitz, and Zuma Blitz!

What about the Gems or Zombucks I still have?

When the game is taken offline, all data within the game will be lost. Please make sure to play the game as much as you like before October 12th and use your remaining currency.

Now Popcap/EA, how about a Plants vs. Zombies 2 for the PC, hmmm?
