Northwind_Highlander 0 Posted November 26, 2004 Quick question: How do I import maps into the game (C&C: ZH) ? I've tried dropping it in the C:Documents and SettingsUserNameMy DocumentsCommand and Conquer Generals Zero Hour DataMaps directory. I've even tried dropping in the MapPreview directory. I've also tried making a map folder in the C&C Generals folder where the actual game files are, but to no avail. Do I need to manually import maps, or run a certan program? I've tried patching the game, re-installing it, but no go. Share this post Link to post

Sonic 295 Posted November 26, 2004 Start a skirmish game first then quit the game. This should create the Maps folder for you under My DocumentsCommand and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data The follow these instructions: To install the maps simply extract the contents of the downloaded .zip file to your My DocumentsCommand and Conquer Generals Zero Hour DataMapsMAPNAME folder on your hard drive. The MAPNAME will of course be the name of the map. EG if a map was called "DesertStorm" you would extract contents of the .zip file to the My DocumentsCommand and Conquer Generals Zero Hour DataMapsDesertStorm folder. Each zip file should be set up so the folder is created when you unzip it. Also make sure all the files inside the downloaded .zip file are extract to MAPNAME folder. You should have a .map file and .tga file. Some maps come with script files include, extract these as well. Share this post Link to post
