Guest Dragonfire Posted December 31, 2004 also, how do you make a unit able to shoot farther for Generals modding? Share this post Link to post
joeb2000 0 Posted December 31, 2004 To give a worker a rebel gun Under the workers weaponset in the fisrt line where it says none you would put in "PRIMARY GLARebelMachineGun" Without the quotes and then that would give them the weapon. To edit weapon strength of a unit you go to that unit Say Rebel. You navigate to the unit you want to change all objectsglainfantryglainfantryrebel then look at thier weaponset. The first and only weapon listed is "PRIMARY GLARebelMachineGun" So then you want to navigate to WeaponsGLARebelMachineGun Then edit the "PrimaryDamage" of the weapon, the higher the number the more damage it will cause per shot. To increase the range of the weapon just edit the "AttackRange" property. NOTE:When you edit the attack range of the weapon you have to edit the "VisionRange" of the unit. The unit can only attack what it can see, So if you give a weapon an attack range of 500 and the unit has a vision range of only 200 the weapon will still not be discharged until the enemy is in the units sight. All of this was referring to "how to" in tibed beta 2, it is slightly different in the alpha's. Share this post Link to post
