Mizoodh 0 Posted February 15, 2005 Here's My problem: I have Just Bought C&C Generals Zero Hour , I installed the game, It Runs fine on Single Player, When I Wanted to Play online it Updated itself then restarted Zero Hour, Now When I try to log on on online play It says you have to be 13 or Above Years old, I wrote in Everything and Filled the blanks but it always tells me you have to be 13 years old, Do i miss anything? chickendippers 1 Posted February 16, 2005 Set your age so that you're older than 13...or wait 'till you're 13. Share this post Link to post
Mizoodh 0 Posted February 17, 2005 Very Funny Man, I bet I'm much older than you , Kid! Share this post Link to post
chickendippers 1 Posted February 17, 2005 My age is no secret; 17. But judging by your bad grammar and weird capitalisation I made the assumption that you were some lame 12 year old AOLer. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted February 17, 2005 I wasn't aware that Generals or Zero Hour asked for any age verification before playing one. Share this post Link to post
chickendippers 1 Posted February 17, 2005 Yup, it does. Looks like EA are avoiding soccer moms - it's America's fault. Share this post Link to post

Mizoodh 0 Posted February 19, 2005 My age is no secret; 17.But judging by your bad grammar and weird capitalisation I made the assumption that you were some lame 12 year old AOLer. 17, then I'm actually older than you, Ever heard of the word Respect? well I'm not english so yea blame my grammer all you want, I'm not 12 nor am I lame, Please your Judgment isn't needed. Anyways thanks for the others for posting real replies, not trying to make fun of each other. Getting back to the topic, I'm not sure if it's a bug or anything similar, But it prevents me from online play, So if anyone had a similar problem and has been able to solve it Then please help me, Thanks in advance Share this post Link to post
chickendippers 1 Posted February 19, 2005 well I'm not english so yea blame my grammer all you want.I don't know of any languages that have capitals at the start of every word. Anyway, I'm sure you have to specify your age; simply set your DOB a few years later. It might be related to your Gamespy account so check the age setting in that. Share this post Link to post
chickendippers 1 Posted February 20, 2005 i never went thru gamespyI wasn't talking to you, but Generals Online is powered by Gamepsy - you use your Gamespy account to play. Share this post Link to post
Mario 0 Posted February 20, 2005 Is it Compulsory to use Gamespy? i dont think so Share this post Link to post
chickendippers 1 Posted February 20, 2005 Is it Compulsory to use Gamespy? i dont think so It's not compulsory to use Gamespy Arcade, or even have it installed to use Generals Online, but you need a Gamespy account to play. If you create an account through GOL it creates a Gamespy account. Do you not think it a little more than coincidence that GOL isn't affected by WOL downtime, but is by Gamespy downtime? Share this post Link to post
