J-Fire_Man 0 Posted March 12, 2005 Alright, I got this freaking error 4 weeks ago, but since I can't do anything to post for 3 weeks, so I just post it here. This error was occured after I played Blood Omen 2. A crash was occured in the middle of playing Blood Omen 2. So, I just do what I should do, resarting my comp by force because the Ctrl+Alt+Del isn't functioning. The most feared thing is when I entered the OS after the crash occured. It's a nightmare. My comp is suddenly slowing down. It's like playing Zero hour with maximum compatibility using a middle-end comp. I happen to activate the Task Manager to see the comp process. It's a horrifying view, the paging file is increased by 8 times, and my virtual memory usage is increased by 3 times than normal. Another worst thing of this error is that I can't access safe mode to fix the error. Well, after more than 6 hours of trying to fix my comp, I decided to format my comp, however, another bad things occured, my Win XP cd is broken and I have given my old XP cd to my friend far from my house. It took me 2 days to fully restore my comp. I was so freaked out that time. And then, after I fixed my comp, I broke up my BO2 cds to pieces. I HATE games who have damaged my computer. My question is, how can I fix this kind of error other than formatting my comp if this occured again? Anyone have any opinion? Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted March 12, 2005 Ghost image ya PC from time to time. Then if bad things happen just use the ghost image. Share this post Link to post
J-Fire_Man 0 Posted March 17, 2005 Err.......one problem, the error was occured after the crash, and I can't access the os, either through the safe mode or the normal mode. But that time, I don't have a startup disk and I forgot to make one. If I have the start-up disk, I might can access the DOS and find the source of the error. Problem solved, I just thought of this awhile ago while doing things using DOS lol Share this post Link to post
