Considering I see no issues posted...

Recommended Posts

I have come to the conclusion that I must ask about the issue with Tibed 2 Beta 3.. Each time I attempt to open the Vehicle string on the sidebar I get an Error message, word for word, I'll type it out...

There was an error which was not handled by any code!

Please report this message and steps to recreate the error on the Tibed forums (http://www.tibed.net/forums) un;ess the error below makes sense.

Tibed could be unstable now!

Error type: Exception

Error message: GeneralsINI: Warn!

Basicly since the link is dead for where the error message told me to refurance toward, I have figured this is the next best place.

As I said the Error occures when I attempt to open the final of the following:

C&C: Generals>All Objects>GLA>Vehicle

I have tried it many different ways, starting a new, changing from a previously saved file- Yet nothing changes and I find that I recieve the error every time. The Error also continues on when I select certain things, like the overview section next to the drop-down +/- boxes. Ultimately forcing me to shutdown the entire program to start over.

I have just tried this myself, and I did not get the error. However, it might actually be there. Could you:

- hit "Save project" and send me the TibEd project file which causes crashes?

- check your game version, is it 1.07 for Generals and 1.02 or 1.03 for Zero Hour?

My mail address is webmail.gif.

I thank you for your assistance in this issue, Koen. The File will be sent- a fresh File named Error.TibEd2project. The issue happens with New Projects and Old Saved Files, so it will be a saved from a "Fresh" open of the program with me having Just caused the Error. The Issue, as stated in the email I will be sending you, is of the Zero Hour Devision of Your program.

Unfortunatly as I look at this Saved File, Error.TibEd2project, freshly saved just after causing the error- the file is 15.8 Megabytes in Size... I type this as I attempt to upload it to the email I will be sending... and I have doubts that I will be able to send this email with the attached saved file. I will be sending it to you From my Personal MSN account @ [email protected]

I have released beta 3a which fixes this problem. It has to do with ModuleTag names which contain spaces; this is non-standard but I guess the game allows it so TibEd should as well.
