BM-21 Grad

Recommended Posts

When I was in Russia I actually got this cool toy of a BM-21 Grad 122mm Multiple Rocket Launcher. This is what It looks like: image_id7668w0h0_Model_:_Russian_BM-_GRAD.jpg

Except my one has a Red Star on both doors and some camo, It cost me $45, but it was worth it for a soviet era collectible (it was made in the 1970's)

heres the real thing:

BTW Grad in russian means Hail (and if any of you seen the way this thing fires, youll know why)

The thing Griveous got, it's also nicknamed "Stalin's Organ or Stalin Organ" and "Katyusha Rocket System". It's where all MLRS vehicles are based on. It was also used by the NVA during the Vietnam War.

Thats not katyusha, it had only 7 rockets

I remember because the unit is drivable and fireable in Battlefield 1942

plus I saw a real katyusha at a military musuem in Beijing.

They had a real Sherman and Pershing tank...thats all...probably pieces that the Americans left behind...

But they had plenty of russian stuff including the katyusha

i saw a t-34 there

and there was a hole floor dedicated to all types of guns...so many on display there

the tanks were in a courtyard, with only a line barrier around them...i found garbage stuffed down the muzzle of one of the tanks
