Changes to the Network Forums

Recommended Posts

In case you haven't noticed the layout of the forums has changed around just a bit. I will summarise the changes here.

  • category. The Community News forum can be found here. The C&C10 forum will be kept in there as well. Even though C&C10 is official over I see no harm in keeping the forum open.

The other new category is Editing & Creativity featuring new forums for Generals/Zero Hour Mod & Map Making, Red Alert 2/Yuri's Revenge Mod & Map Making and C&C Related Mod & Map Making. With Generals mods and RA2 mods being the most popluar in the community we now have dedicated forums for them, any other C&C mod and editing stuff can go in the all purpose C&C one. If these new forums bearly get used I will think about removing them.

The Artwork & Graphics forum is now Editing & Creativity category.

[*]Site & Network Discussion: Site and network discussion has now been split into two different forums.

[*]Order of Key Forums: With the addition of new categories comes changes to the order of some the forums. The Tech Support forum is now in the C&C Games category. Due to the status of RA3 it's forum has moved down the list.

[*]World Rebellion Forums: Since the World Rebellion site is shutting down the World Rebellion forums are no longer available.

[*]Petroglyph's Modern Military/Sci-Fi RTS: There is a new forum in the Empire-At-War.com category, for any topics about the Petroglyph/SEGA partnership and their new modern military/sci-fi themed RTS franchise.

[*]Avatar Settings Changes: The maximum size for avatars have been increased from 100x100 to 120x120. The file size has been increased from 10 KB to 25 KB.

[*]Signature Settings Change: The maximum number of characters allowed in a signature has been increased from 300 to 350.

  • That about does it I think. Feel free to comment on these changes. What else should be changed? What else would you like see added?

If World Rebellion's site is shutting down, I recommend placing their beta for download somewhere on the site.
