I played three quickmatches just now and lost all three, mainly since my opponent was faster than me to occupy the civilian buildings.

Is there any good way to destroy these, except for air?

Here are a few good ways to clear out garrisoned buildings.

 

Harriers, Aircraft Carrier, Prism Tank (Allies)

 

Kirovs, Dreadnaught, V3 (Soviets)

 

Floating Discs, Boomer, Magnatron (Yuri)
