DeadEye 0 Posted November 22, 2003 Rushing in terms on the strat? It's generally just building a number of units and rushing the enemy base, as soon as possible. Share this post Link to post

Guest Disposable Hero Posted November 22, 2003 Once upon a time I downloaded a Generals "tactics guide" (forgot when&where ). It covers the most used rush tactics in Generals and although some units have been added in ZH, it can still be used. So if you want a copy, mail me: [email protected] Share this post Link to post
Guest XenoWish Posted December 9, 2003 there are many good ways to rush an oponent. depends on who you are using. for instance a troop rush from usa. you could have say two or three suply choppers and load them with say 16 army rangers and 8 missile troops. that is a good rush against some oponents but be warned that any rush can be defended against. sometimes they work sometimes they dont. it never hurts to try and does slow down the oposition while you build your base. but sometimes a tank rush is good too or multiple rushes as each side has many different methods of rushing. me personally i dont rush too opften as it kinda kills the gameplay and strategy when you whipe your oponent out b4 they even get a chance to have some fun defending against them is a different story altogether. best way is to immediatly (build fast and move quick) Defend your entrances and structures as best possiblt. makes sure a rush doesnt totally wipe you out. i usually make at lest 4 builders in my command center to start then build defenses while i build my regular structures. sometimes i initially build 6 more builders at start for a total of seven. then i send my first builder to build the most nescessary structures. the ones that get build imediately after that are sent out to build defenses. for instance build a power plant if aplicable, then your suply stash and barracks imediately, then a defense for each entrance. your war factory or arms dealer. and so on and so forth. another good thing to do is to build two types of defenses next to eachother but not blocking a path out of your base. like a tunnel and a stinger site or a fire base and a patriot missile. garison the fire base with 2 or 3 rangers for troop protection. the patriot and fire base take care of the vehicles. anyways if you need more strategy help or if you want introduction to mapmaking help you can message me on yahoo or email me.
