New Image Uploader for CNCNZ.com Forums

As most of you know we have had an image uploader available for our forum for awhile now. The uploader was ok but it wasn't perfect. I'm happy to say its been replaced with much simpler and improved uploader now.

 

If you have ever used an image uploading service like ImageShack you will find that using the new CNCNZ.com Forums Image Uploader works basically the same way.

 

 

All the BBCodes for displaying the uploaded image are generated for you, as well as a smaller thumbnail image if the image is to large for display. Once you upload an image just look for the code labelled "Thumbnail for CNCNZ Forums" to copy and paste into your post.

Any reason BMP files aren't allowed? Just curious. :?:

BMP images aren't considered standard for displaying on web pages. BMP images give you bloated files sizes as well.

Heh, I dunno. I was just curious to know, I usually stick to JPEGs anyway.

Do you allow SVG images? They're a new standard from W3C.

Just the most common web images will do for now I think
