very basic tutorial

is there a basic tutorial - something that would tell an old fart like me just how to change the cost of a unit, or change the range of a tank gun, in generals or zero hour? i did fine until the first decade came out, and now since installing it i cannot edit the generals in any way. i still cannot grasp big files, etc. i need someone with loads of patience to explain it or walk me thru it.

I havent tried it personally but the new version of tibed should have first decade support.

i seem to be having a problem gettinc C&c 95 running after telling tibed to start up the game. it tells me to put in a C&c disc, but i use first decade. how do i work this?

 

Edit: i found out how to get it to work, just start the game from outside tibEd.
