UncleBob 0 Posted August 4, 2006 Hey I'm new here  But anyway i've just thought of a way to stop Auroras BEFORE they drop their payload. First u need to be either China or USA (should work best with SW gen EMP pats). Basically, you need exceptional timing and speed. When you see an aurora launching and approaching your base, you need to judge which route it will take and how it will get there. Then, get any sort of heli (the cheaper the better) and put it somewhere in the path of the aurora. Just before the aurora approaches your heli, order your AA to force fire on the heli, if your timing is right, it will hit the aurora instead and with luck down it. Then again, a much more practical approach would be to destroy the enemy airfeld asap. But if they DO manage to get a few aurs up... However, i can't test this strat atm cos im on holiday , so could somebody please test this out and post if it wrks or not. Share this post Link to post
Guest General_F Posted August 4, 2006 hehe cool, but im not sure im gonna use that tactic hehe, since i dont have afford to waste a chopper everytime i get attacked by an aurora:S altough it costs less than the aurora.... but gj neways... Share this post Link to post
Renamon 0 Posted August 4, 2006 Who would build Auroras (Plus who would let them?)? A tank battalion is better. Share this post Link to post
UncleBob 0 Posted August 4, 2006 Nah just cos loads of people complain about being owned by aurora spam :? But yes of course any half-decent players dont let the enemy get that far. Also if a damn bunkering SW gen spams u with alphas sometimes they take themselves out the FAB from one blows up under the one behind. Oh yeah, with normal auroras/most planes against ground forces, the 'X' key is your best friend  Share this post Link to post

GiGaNToR 0 Posted August 13, 2006 Description: The newest model of Aurora bomber is equipped with fuel air bombs. The Aurora Alpha's fuel explosives detonate in the air over a target, spreading fire across a considerable area. Capable of supersonic speeds, the FAB Aurora can outdistance enemy AA fire. the bomb falls to the ground then releases the fuel into the air. Share this post Link to post

Mother Of All Bombs 0 Posted August 25, 2006 you could always use the force-fire function to aim ahead of the buggies. and they don't move much when they're firing at ur defenses, like sitting ducks really. Share this post Link to post
