Sonic 296 Posted August 5, 2006 Are you running ZoneAlarm as your firewall? And your getting these errors? See more in this thread http://forums.cncnz.com/viewtopic.php?p=62974#62974 The solution can be found here http://forums.cncnz.com/viewtopic.php?p=79281#79281 (further down in the same thread). kobayashi 0 Posted August 6, 2006 no joy there im afraid, still getting .tmp error message even with ZA shutdown. tried installing in safe mode only to get a bit further but got a 1607 error message about InstallShieldScripting installation. tried to update th the drivers for that but have 7 and 9 on the system; so updated both to no avail (don't know if both is good or bad tho) Share this post Link to post
F15pilotX 4 Posted August 9, 2006 Did you disable ZA, or uninstall it? You need to uninstall it  Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted August 10, 2006 Yeah disabling/shutting down ZoneAlarm doesn't seem to fix this problem. You have to actually uninstall the program, install Generals then re-install ZoneAlarm. Share this post Link to post
