Quickmatch and Custom Game greyed out

Suddenly when I logon to Generals Online I can't get to Quickmatch or Custom Game. They are greyed out and I can't click on them. I've tried restarting, using a different name, nothing works. I haven't changed any settings and this just started today. Any ideas?

OK, there are a few things that you need to check list.

 

1) Is Gamespy installed?

 

2) If so is Gamespy patched to the latest version?

 

3) Is Zero Hour Patched to the latest version?

 

If the answer is yes to all these, then it's possible there may be a few problems with Gamespy, or the servers may be down for maintainence? There haven't been any other reports of Gamespy problems as yet to my knowledge, but if you cannot log-in VIA Zero Hour, try using the Gamespy Arcade stand-alone program and launch a game from there, see if that works.

 

If you can't, then I suggest holding on for another 24 hours to see if it is just a Gamespy related issue.

It just started working, without me doing anything. Not sure what the problem was. There were some other people online saying they had the same problem or their friends were. Must have been a system issue.

It was just gamespy being crap tbh.
