2 players connecting problem.

I really live in the same city with my friend.

However, I have check the IP and also his IP too. We cannot

connect with each other.

Somehow, we can still play very well in Net Game.

 

So, can anyone help me with that connecting problem?

Any steps I need to take? [/b]

You should try disabeling your firewall if you have one or if you are using a router or another computer as means of internet access go to your internet browser and type 192.168.1.1 that is the ip for most routers refare to your router manual if it dosn't work then when you get in go to advanced setup the click on NAT then when you have done that click on special aplication then you will have a list of blank spaces for port numbers type in the number of any port free (type somthing between 1000 and 8000 in both spaces and check the boxes labeled UDP protocol beside the 2 spaces then click apply then go to zerohour then into options then put in the port number in the first box where it says somthing like subnet adrees or portnumber i cant remeber i lent my generals to a friend :shock: when you have done that click on refresh NAT then try to setup a game with your friend if no luck then go into start then into run and type in "ipconfig" this will show you your ip adress, DNS server adress (usualy the same as IP adress) and your subnet mask adress try either one of these as your IP and do the same with your friend and hopefuly it works if it dosnt im sorry im all out of ideas! good luck and merry x-mas
