A pal of mine is running on dial-up ( ISDN ) as he has always been, even when we was clanmates for several years ago...

 

But nowadays, whenever he join a game, he has great connection in ping, but as soon as the game has loaded and starts he gets insane ping ( around 5K... ) and disconnects...

 

All firewalls and functions of AV and Internet-security programs has been disabled.

Exactly the same problem.

And it's the only game with the problem.

RenGuard is not the faulty thingie either.

If its the same problem when connecting to XWIS then is most likely the internet connection that is the problem, its sounds like its to slow.

It is definitely not.

As I said, he's played on that connection before, also when we were playing daily in our clan, RED.

The strange thing is, he sometimes can play just fine for 1 minute or 2 and then suddenly it goes to disconnect and kills everything ( disconnects him from Ventrilo, MSN etc., whatever he has running. ).

It's not the speed of connection, he can even WoW fine on ISDN.

that's odd.....I can't think of anything that would cause that :?
