Azrael 0 Posted March 16, 2007 I don't know if you all heard about this, but the extrajudicial killings are rampant in my country. According to news networks, the U.S. Congress is condemning our government for this... Since only government critics get killed... My question is: Should us (the Filipinos, and soon enough the international community) take action in the legal way (i.e. delegates, trade restrictions, etc.), or should the Filipinos go ahead and once again make history by ousting a third president with our "People Power"? Here are links that will be relevant to the topic at hand: Satur Ocampo (Government Critic) Getting Detained http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/breakingnews/...rticle_id=55263 People Power http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/People_Power President Arroyo's Term And It's Events http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gloria_Arroyo[/url] Share this post Link to post
mormreed 0 Posted March 16, 2007 well I don't know much about politics but if your president can kill whoever he wants without a reason then I would be scared and would definitely oust him Share this post Link to post

TheBlackOut 7 Posted March 17, 2007 Sounds to me like you no need a good old fashioned Greek oligarchy. I read orgy at the end since I read something bout the old Greeks being gay and I was "WTF LOL"... Either one will do. Share this post Link to post
sith_wampa 6 Posted March 17, 2007 An oligarchy is a gang monarchy, sorta. Its when the executive is run by more than one person. Share this post Link to post
