Rotatable structures?

Is there a way of rotating the direction of structures? Since they can be placed at any angle really, its just annoying as you have that perfect little spot to put something, but it doesn't fit because its going the wrong way....

 

Any help?

Hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse left or right in a circular motion, the structure will then rotate, release the left mouse button to place the structure once you have the angle you want.

SO does it make your harvesters unloading more efficient by having the refineries entrance rotated to face the Tiberium?

Well the harvester has less distance to travel so that would be a yes. ;)

Haha, sry for the noob questions but I have a lot to learn as I only played the original C&C's a little bit and against the AI (was there online gaming way back then? :P)

 

and one more for ya if thats okay? whats the most efficient way to harvest Tiberium, how many harvesters per refinery?

I'm guessing it would it be 2 as during gameplay I notice them (3 per refinery) waiting around a bit to unload but am unable to work this out since not sure how to watch replays yet.

There's no specific amount you should have, what I do in the demo map though is build 2 refineries in the starting tiberium field and build another 2 or 3 in the other fields

I usually find two harvesters per refinery works best, three and there is waiting times.

 

For that demo map, I have one refinery for the field by the base with another harvester. Then I build 3 refineries at the expansion field and then bring in another three harvesters for that field. :nod:

damn 6 harvestors, I went for 3 or 4 max, need to fix that then..

 

seems to be a tiberium glut about the 9 min mark after the first field is depleted, then my harvestors take off and get themselfs killed at the enemies field :S
