C&C 3 Participants, BattleCasts and Ship Dates

Smudge, a Senior Development Director at EALA that works with our community manager Predator, posted this announcement on the Official C&C 3 Forums that covers a few important topics.

 

Hey guys. Smudge here; I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and clear up a few things that may have been causing some confusion. I'm the game's Senior Development Director so between Predator and myself we should be able to answer almost any of your questions.

 

-- Anyone who has the full retail game installed will be upgraded to Participant level when you register the game. This will allow you to participate in BattleCasts (playing and commentating), as well as plan future matches through the online scheduling system, and participate in clan life.

-- If you have the game installed you will also be able to spectate live matches as well as watch archived BattleCast matches.

-- We will be making a free, downloadable BattleCast Viewer available, which will allow you to spectate live matches and watch archived replays. We haven't made any announcements about when the Viewer will be ready. It's not exactly imminent but I don't expect it to be too far out either. Is that vague enough for you?

-- The game has already shipped out to a few retail stores in Europe. The game ships out today to stores nationwide and will be available for purchase everywhere on Wednesday.

 

We're very excited about Command & Conquer 3. The team has put a tremendous amount of blood, sweat and tears into the game, and we hope that you enjoy playing it as much as we've enjoyed building it. In particular, I think that BattleCast is an exciting addition to the RTS genre. No one has ever done something like this before, so please bear with us while we iron out some of the inevitable kinks and we'll see you online!

thank you my gfx card at my moms is 2 old so I got 2 watch the matches but at my dads is ok my moms is: gforce 4 nvidia amd mx440 so not supported I need 150 euros to play at my moms as well :oops:
