Sonic 298 Posted April 18, 2007 Here we go with another two reviews of Command & Conquer 3. One from Playfuls.com and another from The Armchair Empire. Playfuls.com | 8/10Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars turns out to be a sequel that surprises as it tempers the spirits searching for a last minute twist. Short on innovation, while keeping its head pretty high, but in the same time, nothing short of a delicious experience. The series' fans will definitely be pleased with a working communion between old and new, yet they'll raise their eyes in an instant, waiting heart-clutched, further moves from the EA troops. The RTS genre scores improvements in visual quality, as we share the upgrade induced obsession. The Armchair Empire | 8.5/10 C&C has always excelled at creating an adrenaline-fueled experience on the battlefield – unit rushing all over, structures crumbling, the air filled with explosions… this is what C&C has always meant to me and Tiberium meets that expectation. It’s not always the most strategic game, even if subtle tweaks have been made to make it more tactical. Formations and patrol paths can be created but why bother when a group of fifteen GDI mammoth tanks can pretty much take out anything in their path? (I didn’t know I missed tank rushes until Tiberium Wars.) Another two positive reviews.... I wonder when they will end? Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted April 18, 2007 lol.... Is there a big list anywhere with all the reviews done for C&C3? I'm slightly curious to find out how many have actually been done thus far. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 298 Posted April 18, 2007 Lion has a bunch of theme listed here http://www.cncden.com/cnc3_reviews.shtml, but I'm sure there are more that. Just track back through this news forum, search for anything with "review" in the subject. Share this post Link to post
