Upcoming Changes and New Features

I usually don't announce site releated plans and stuff well before they actually get uploaded and added to the site. But for this one time only I will share my plans and changes that will take place over the next couple of months.

 

1) New Layout: A Return to the Blue

We will be returning the blue scheme that we used to have. The confirmed colours will be 2 types of Blue / Silver / Black. See the image below

 

 

This layout could be in place early next month.

 

2) CNCNZ 10 Plans

I think I'm going to have to scale these back a bit. I wanted to go as big as possible with them but there is just much else I want to do with other projects, Petro-Gamers and so on. The T-Shirt idea is still in my mind though but if I get the new layout done I guess I'll have redo the CNCNZ 10 logo to match the new colours.

 

3) New Feature - Round Table Discussion

This is something I've been wanting to get up and running for a long time now, but as usual I get side tracked. My plan it to pose the big questions to senior CNCNZ.com staff, key forum members, other webmasters from big C&C sites and basically get their thoughts on the each subject. Every few weeks (depending on the news coverage) a new Round Table Discussion topic will be started.

 

4) Tiberium Legos Season 2 - Expanded Coverage

In season one of Tiberium Legos we never really got to many details about Zee Hypnotist's creation process for each new episode. I though since season 2 is planned to bigger and better it deserves bigger and better coverage. How does explanations of the how the videos are created, bloopers and a dedicated forum for season 2 sound?

This is all to be discussed with Zee Hypnotist of course.

 

So that's just some of what's planned, it will take time to get it all done and we need your feedback.

The major colours used will be the blues and black. The rest will the border colours etc.... Links and some extra text will still be gold.

Yes a new style for the forums will be added with the new layout. As always all older forum styles will still be available to those who wish to use them because I know some of you guys like the classic cncnzPurple or the cncnzRemix style.

 

Essentially the new layout is just a return to the site's classic blue scheme that we originally used in 1998/1999/2000. The overall location of things won't be changing to much.
