Greek_MiltCom 0 Posted January 22, 2008 So I was thinking if EA ever decides to make another Generals type game, unlikely but possible, a sweet new faction would be the Russian Mob. Now I’ll admit it’s ludicrous to think that Russian organized crime could stand up to the like of U.S. or Chinese military might, but hear me out. As the Russian mob you would only get 4 units of your own, a basic infantry unit, a hijacker, a hero and spy/negotiator. Now as the Mafia you can use bribes, blackmail and just general corruption to get more units from enemy factions, also you wouldn’t build any structures of your own as there really would be no need. Instead you could take over enemy and civilian buildings (captured civilian buildings would be how you produce more of your own infantry). Instead of using supply stashes you would either just generate a constant stream of cash, or steal it from your enemy Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted January 22, 2008 I don't mean to be rude, but for a Command & Conquer game, that's one of the worst ideas I've ever heard. Could work for a mod of some kind, but as a standalone, it makes no sense. Share this post Link to post
sith_wampa 6 Posted January 23, 2008 It might work if there were more than 4 units, but it still needs more. Share this post Link to post
Greek_MiltCom 0 Posted January 23, 2008 Well this wasn't a REAL idea, it was just a random thought I had while waiting for GTA IV. I still think it would be sweet to have some kind of organized crime faction in C&C that works mainly with corruption. But then this is a war game, not a crime sim. Share this post Link to post
