Kane's Wrath Community Summit Report

A report about the Kane's Wrath Community Summit that took place in December 2007 has been posted on the Official C&C 3 Site. This report gives you a summary of then events with photos included. Here is a sample.

 

Without a shadow of a doubt, the community leaders had a fantastic time at this event, and more importantly, they felt the wrath of Kane! Well you know…they had quite the time checking out our upcoming expansion pack Kane’s Wrath.

 

General breakdown of the community summit went a little something like this (not including minor details)…

 

They all arrived Wednesday night and checked in to the 5-star Ritz Carlton hotel. From there we hosted a welcome dinner, everyone mingled and dropped their force fields down.

 

Thursday, the main event day, kicked off with a couple of morning presentations from lead producer, Jim Vessella who touted the general overview of the game, provided a live gameplay demo, and pretty much unloaded all of the multiplayer info on each of the sub-factions. Designer Sam Bass then presented with his usual slice of humor, the complete unravelling of the Kane’s Wrath story, and a first look at the cinematics. Following this, engineer Keith Schaefer demo’d the new XBOX 360 radial interface, another innovation in RTS control for console that we are pursuing for Kane’s Wrath on XBOX 360.
