Sonic 296 Posted September 26, 2003 If a forum admin or moderator decides that a topic in any other forum (EG the General Discussion or the C&C Generals & Zero Hour forums) has turned into a flame war or its total garbage he can choose to move the topic to the Flamers Zone forum or Recycle Bin forum. I decided it was a good idea to restrict members from starting new topic in the Flamers Zone/Recycle Bin forums because the could be used as an area to keep posting rubbish. ruthless.com 0 Posted September 27, 2003 see but no i think thats gay......... because you can flame and bitch about alot of things...and if you can post new tuff there then you would get more posters and more topics and more people... *my theory* plus most of the posts in the forum so far have been because of that section... and its annoying becuase if i wanted to start a flamin thing where people can bitch about a certain topic i dont want to start it in general discussion and then have that big MOVED thing there, and people will just think you are disruptive, also people will feel stupid form posting in the wrong forum when cleary you should be able too start new topics in those sections.... i think what im trying to say is.... Sonic 296 Posted September 28, 2003 Ok I've opened the Flamers Zone forum so all registered members can post new topics. Just don't crazy in that forum. The current Recycle Bin forum permission will remain though. It would look really sad if the Flamers Zone were one of the popular forums :roll: Share this post Link to post

I noticed that on the index page there is the little description of the sub forum and it says new topics can't be created.
