Kane's Wrath Review at GameSpy

GameSpy have reviewed the recently released Kane's Wrath. First and foremost this review is leaps and bounds above GamePro's pitiful excuse for a review. With that said GameSpy were not entirely pleased with Kane's Wrath, awarding a final score of 3 out of 5 stars. Here is one sample.

 

If one were to make a checklist of the back-of-the-box bullet points for expansion packs, Kane's Wrath hits all the marks. Some, like the Global Conquest mode and each side's new units, it does quite well. Other aspects, such as the sub-faction concept and the single-player maps, are less successful, though none of them are so egregiously as to make this add-on pack unacceptable to Command & Conquer fans. Kane's Wrath's worst sin is simply a failure of imagination. By playing it safe, the Kane's Wrath team has crafted a decently enjoyable but ultimately forgettable experience.
