The monthly BattleCast Primetime episodes are still being made. The next one is on 30th January. It will have more of the interview with Amer Ajami.

They keep calling it a 'campaign expansion' and they don't treat Uprising as major news. I guess they are releasing small expansions for RA3 as they planned. I expect like 3 expansions.
