*sigh* Not to me, it is looking very non-C&C-like as it did with non-C&C Generals. :? not the Generals thing again.....Generals is C&C, but not in the Tiberian Storyline. Wether EA chooses to continue it later or not is up to them (althoguh I dont htink they will) Either way, bugs in the SAGE engine were worked out before the engine was used for a "true" C&C, so at least be happy with that. I happen to like how TW is looking, and will accept it as C&C, because thats what it is. EA owns the franchise, and they arent dumb enough to bow down to everyfan's wishes. Everyone who's played it already has said its good, and damn, it looks good.

which is why in ZH you can speed up the PCannon by double clicking :wink: but yeah, the cannon goes with the whole Western-Geneva convention influences Allies/US/GDI thing. As opposed to true wmds, such as the Nuke and the SS. Now my view is this-the Ion cannon and PCannon are great for surgical strikes, but this is war damnit! Blow the living hell outa them! PS: in TS, Tiberium was too the point where it had absorbed Uranium stocks, hence the lack of nukes. So why are they back now? And where is Nod getting the Uranium to put into them? Keep in mind htat Plutonium is a derrivitave of Uranium, albiet more potent

heck no, but I'm glad I wasnt part of the community back when TS was released, because I LOOVED that game when it came out. In fact, I still do 8) of course, that was before the WW buyout etc, so I think the community is wandering about the integrity of the storyline as it is as compared to how WW would have had it.

that is just nuts over there, which is why I signed up so I could read the whole blasted thing 8) one thing they seemed to have missed over there is that "The Land of Nod" actually means, in the original Hebrew, something akin to "The land of the ceaseless wander" or wandering nomad.

It will be like the junk piles for the GLA in Generals, there, but gone soon as far as resurecting your own units...makes perfect sense. And seeing as how in skirmished GDI engies can capture GDI Juggernaughts, they should be able to resurect their own. The GDI sniper has a bonus thing where he can call in an artillery strike from the juggernaught outside of its normal range (I think, some allusions were made to this in various interviews and videos)

and aside from the TREMENDUOUS lack of multiplayer, Ace Combat series continues to have great titles. Although between 4, 5, and 0, I liked 4 the best for some reason.

they both used to work, and now neither of them work, both of them now freeze at exactly the same loading screen, I dont know what it is, it might be the fact that when you delete something, it doesnt delete, and when you reinstall, the comp just reloads the older stuff, so if something went wrong somewhere, it's still broken. Patches and updates have not fixed either of them, and to be honest, I've given up on RA2, I've just been playing and modding TS/FS in recent weeks.

well, it looks like they can "stargate" around to places, unless Im completely wrong about that last pic, oh, and they have the blackhole generator, which is basically the nuke in a different form :? ..... hmmm...... well we know they get some kind of ubber bonuses from Ion Storms, EA said as much, and hopefully we'll see some pics of Ion Storms before the game is released

in 30 years, Tiberium cant spawn under the ocean and create big moughts that spit toxic gas and create giant floating spiders that kill everything in their path! O wait, it did :wink: and it perfectly can again. Remember, EA is in charge of the cannon, and they do posses the C&C Bible, so its NOT in our hands. Sure we can complain and try to change things, but overall, they are in control. Now accept that or dont, but either way, this new game is looking goooooood 8)
