meh, well, you cant have em all maybe a setting where it randomly sets the style as you logon or something would be cool. Might be a drain on the servers though, but it would be cool

even better, they run around like maniacs when being shot at unless the map is "The Hills Have Eyes" they are useless. Minelayers are another useless unit, unless you like taking 3-4 hours to complete a mission and mining the crap out of the map. The Theif and Spy in RA1 were rather useless, that money and time is better spend on Tanks or MiGs but my fav crates, when you see someone racing someone else with a tank or something to try and get to the crate, then they get there and BOOM bye bye tank. The Tesla tank in RA2 has too short of range to do much, unless its fuly ranked to elite status, but to do that it has to kill stuff, and its range is too short.

SW Battlefront II on the neighbors PS2, nothing on my comp because TFD decided to start freezing whenever I try to load up RA2/YR to play. Still playing TS and RA once in a while, just for coolness' sake

My cousin has a version of the Dell Inspiron series, I dont remember the model number, but it can play Generals at full tilt, full speed, 8 players, with ubberass battles and nukes going off everywhere without any problem at all. only cost him $1000 ish dollars (USD)

I used to have an avie in that style (from the same site that Acerz found about a million years ago) yes, orange would do nicely, it fits with the V8 forum style 8)

That thing looks like abig tall Tiberium....something or another. In Both screens, GDI seems to be having thier arses handed to them I wondering though, and I've seen this several times, but the Nod RPG trooper seems to alwasy have 2 warheads in his launcher, is that an upgrade, or is he just more heavily armed than his GDI counterpart?

is there really a point? then again, funness of Scrinnies eating humans then Nod blowing the hell out of them (after a few healthy servings of GDI, of course)

Yeah, but you dont see Darth Vader choking the life out of a Cyborg do ya?..... besides, I think the space battles of any future C&C might be something akin to the battles of HALO: The Fall of Reach, but possible without the extremeness of one side getting its arse handed to it. I'm with King on this one, someday the humans will be taking the fight to the Aliens, their Tiberium has ravaged our planet for half a century and sparked of 3 wars of unprecendented destruction and mayhem, and put hte human race near the brink of extinction (imagine Kane's missile going off) Time for a little payback, in maybe 50 years or so when we can clear up the Tiberium menace from Earth and obviously, clear off the invaders.

and to think, EALA is aptly named for its location in Los Angeles.... Josef, those are some interesting speculations. Although I'm not sure about Kane and "his elites" If he could teleport, why build a ship? Why not just teleport a bunch of elite Cadres onto the Philly, steal the tech, then blow it up? And knowing invasive alien species, "regional governor" just means that they eat you last :wink:
