It has been speculated many times in the past at many different forums about Kane's origins. Those speculations including things such as Kane being snatched up by the Scrin or having been created by them to carry out thier will on Earth and to prepare it for their coming, others wondered about Cabal's cloning tanks, which were loaded with 'Kanes' at the end of the Nod campaign on FS.

Yes it is interesting, where he gives in to the System, but then mentally rebels in the end, to no avail, as no one else who was currently alive would have known abotu it. A pointless victory. I wonder if we'll see something along those lines with C&C3, maybe leave some open room to continue the story

wow, wheels within wheels, eh? Looks liek someone at Westwood had some fun with words. I've been wondering if there are any "other" instances throughout C&C where something similar could have happened, but I'm not coming up with anything. Speaking of alien tech, what of the Nod Cyborgs?

Well Im back to CNCNZ (at least as long as my comp holds out)

Ever since the new year began I've been able to get back on to CNCNZ and AIM as well (which was also broken at the time) I really have no idear whats going on when stuff like that happens, but it seems to be working at the moment. Hence, my being "back" :wink:

All I keep getting everytime I try to log on to CNCNZ or even visit the homepage latley is the message "the document contains no data". Thats via Firefox. I tried IE, and I just get the 404 page not found error. Any ideas?

Unfortunatly, like Communism, while it sounds great, people in Real Life are greedy and afriad and prone to be irrational. Such is how things are run. Of course, the elections are probably the worse, but we strive to choose the lesser of two evils. Granted, not everyone has an aura of evil about them, but whens the last time a presidential or congressional candidate actually satisfied anyone 100%?

I've never had any trouble or annoyances with Zone Alarm, although the constant alerts were annoying back when I didnt have admin rights to shut them off. But once said and done, it quietly manages itself in the backround quite satisfactorily.

Keep in mind that Kane mentions that the Tacitus was at one time in the first war completley decoded, but through a series of "thefts" it managed to escape the grasp of the Black Hand for quite some time. then with having Cabal scattered to bitty pieces and whatnot, lets just say Nod wasnt having much fun. At the end of the GDI ending for FS, they say they've just cracked the Tacitus and it begins unvieling itself to the GDI scientists, and in some of Kings informational posts, he has mentioned (along with EA) that GDI used that info along with thier disruptor technology to find the frequency at which Tiberium resonated, thus allowing them to build powerful harmonic resonance sheilds for the blue zones to keep Tiberium largely at bay.

Those tripods better NOT just be WotW copies sounds rather daunting, having ot face up against them. Speaking of no subterrainean units in the name of balance (well you know, Mammoth tank, Recon bike, it all equals out :roll: :wink: ) will Nod have all of their glorious stealth tech? And what'll the "Aliens" think of that? Or will it be just useless against them? Aside from the speculation, I think this is (so far) shaping up to a rather interesting title for the C&C unniverse. Although "they thought the destruction of the Philly was the sign" seems kinda, idk, cheesy to me, but overall, I'm not complaining at all. Just speculating :wink:
