Didnt the Soviet Union employ similar military tactics as the U.S.? to counter a similar threat I suppose.

Some could also say that the U.S. being argueably the strongest and most resourceful military force on the planet, not to mention our intelligence gathering assets, should hav hd no trouble bringing in a leader of a fanatical group who is mor concerned with hidding than with fighting.

Thats what I mean. I have the GLA covers and CD lables. I've seen Chinese theme box and Lables, a U.S. theme box and Lables, and an all around theme with all three sides.

The Soviets were a real superpower during a real time in history. Recent history. People feared them. Some still fear communists. While losing power, communism still has influence on our planet. Imagine if Putin or someone were to resurect the Soviet Union, then show the world up by capturing Bin Laden or something. With all the idiots of today that have forgotten the cold war, there might be no one to object the rise of a communist superpower. Very real. Very threatening.

It would be nice if one or all the programers out there would possibly develope an alternate mapmaker. Like better features, or tweaked performance. Or I dont know. I cant make Generals maps. And that sucks. Period.

try this: power plant (2), barracks, refinery, while waiting on ref. build various troops and wall conyard in. A few defenses dont hurt. Warfactory-1 additional harvester, 8 tanks. Radar, service, power, another miner, battle lab, advanced stuff. The whole time while you are teching up, you are constantly building infantry of mixed types and tanks. Just dont screw yourself out of money. Once you have teched up, if allies, 1 or 2 more refineries w/ 3 harvesters each. Soviets build 2-3 refineries w/ 2-3 harvesters each. For yuri, keep ading miners as you go along. Youll need them. Dont do all of this at once. Build it up gradually. Dont train engineers unless you need them. If tech structures are available, grab 'em. OR Once you have a refinery or two and 2-3 harvesters per and a radar and warfactory, dont tech up, just build tanks. Remember, the more factories you have, the faster stuff builds. Perfect your technique while skirmishing. Once you have your prefered method figured out, practice, practice, practice.

Get some allies or friend when you battle. I suggest you skirmish unti lthe brutal AI cant stop you, or the medium superweapon AI. BTW start skirmishing on easy against multiple oppenents on your fav maps, then move to new maps that you dont often play. Then go to medium AI, once you can beat that, battle against easy superweapon AI. then medium superweapon AI and Brutal AI. Make sure that eventually you skirmish against like 3-7 AI oppenents allied against you in team alliance. Once skirmishing against med and brutal AI is no sweat for you, get online and start kicking ass. If your gonna get good, skirmish 2-3 times a day. Once you are comfortable with online against humans, skirmish once in a while to keep in top shape.

Just dont do Chrono Legionarie fortresses. All the chrono dudes fire at the same target making them useless for taking on large groups of enemies.

Weird. I'm cajun and I dont like fish all that much, 'cept for fried catfish. And crab. Sometimes shrimp. But jumbolia is GOOD.

I still wandering, would they move the obelisk to another site? or would they use it as part of a structure where they carved it out of the ground? BTW I dont mean to sound like I'm pushing you, I just happen to have an interest in these things.

I seem to recal a National Geographic article on Global Warming. We may not be seeing its effects yet, but if current measurements are accurate, then in 150 years a map of the Earth will look drastically different. Although here in the States its been pretty cold latley. Not as cold as Russia or Canada, but for midwest U.S. Pretty cold. Doesnt feel like global warming anytime soon.
