I want to see unit descriptions. We already know that the third side is aliens and we already have a logo, despite them wishing us a merry christmas (that was cool). When can we expect more information? :wink:

Now I dont know about any of us showing resentment to EA for shutting down Westwood, but fans just want information. It is always up to the veterans to correct the mislead peoples of the n00bs to the C&C universe and tell them that this makes sense and this does not. I understand that you want brothers and sisters united, but there will always be a stupid opinion. But hey, Im not going anywhere and i will always be here to support C&C as the game it is (even if I have to share a little critisicm).

We had a thread earlier and many people agreed that sub-sides can make the difference in the game, despite the announcments made now by EA (this was back in November when things were slow). I think that Cabal and Forgotten forces were to make good sub-sides but with EA announcing them as tech structures, well, we will just have to see and hope for the best. We also discussed the possibility of a fourth side, but that would make C&C3 too complicated.

Im I the only one who thinks that these are Kane's clones? He's not a cyborg, a robot, a queer with a time machine, or a god! He is a man who just happens to have clones! :shock:

Can you put that into detail? I mean, if Kane had a chronosphere, why didnt he go back in time and wipe out Gen Shepard (TD) and/or General Soloman (TS). He could have just destroyed GDI that way.

Here is my theory of Kane. It involves the Tiberium and Red Alert Universes: During Yuri's rise to power with the activation of his Psychic Dominator network, the Allies used the time machine to go back in time for at least a year at the most to undo the events Yuri had unleashed. As we all know, the path to science is sometimes lies unforseen and Einstein had made his share of mistakes when he took out Hitler before the first RA war. When he first activated his Chronosphere during RA, his time travel created time ripples that tore a hole in the fabric of time (or FOT). When the new RA time period merged with our modern day period, It created WWIII, but the time damage was not enough to do some major damage to the FOT. Back to RA2>YR: When the Allies used Einstein's Time Machine, Einstein may have thought that he corrected his past error and forsaw the future to come. As the Allied Freedom Taskforce travelled back to kick Yuri, the size of the manpower being sent through created even more ripples, tearing a large chunck out of the FOT. When the Allies were successful, time merged and send unforseen time waves into both the RA universe and the Tiberian Universe temporarly linking them through time, but not the acutal reallities themselves (more like an invisible portal). Kane was born in the RA universe and after the RA war, he found Einstein's FIRST Chronosphere and his notes on how he killed Hitler. Kane formed a scheme and powered the chronosphere to go back into time to kill or corrupt the Allied leadership, ensuring the Soviet victory in the RA universe. As he travelled through time, the HUGE ripples created by the merging RA time frames sent Kane's teleportion off course and into the Tiberian Universe. He arrived confused, but being the brilliant schemer that he is, saw this as a new opportunity. He then began a life as a propagandist/terrorist: creating mistrust between nations, enfulling jihadism, creating chaos in countries so intense that it becomes a coup or civil war. Kane, being a man of religious beliefs and thinking of his old RA agenda, forms his own organization and calls it NOD. Then the Tiberian Crater crashes on Earth and Kane sees another investment/opportunity, and with propaganda, technology, and wealth on his side; he becomes a god as some people start seeing him as Cain from the Holy Bible and soon it all sticks. With his alliances and his people, he becomes the respected leader of the mightiest organization know to mankind in the Tiberian Universe, the :n: Brotherhood of Nod :n: . :rock: <Nuff Said> :rock: :n: PEACE THROUGH POWER :n:

I know right! A stupid alien tripod or any nod unit (except maybe the Avatar) wouldnt last 5 seconds against the might Mammy Mk2!

This creates new possiblilities for when i play. Just have the NOD AI pump out the avatars or have the GDI AI pump out the Juggernauts and *bam*, instant capture! 8)
