wow. that brings me back: On RedEdit: I would have my own little island or continent so that the AI would duke it out while i created my island fortress. lol. after i got the editor, i put the soviet command HQ building on the top of a big cliff/hill. made it my own little HQ For TS: I made sure my maps had a huge lake that would cut off me from the rest of the AI players and all i had to do was blow up the bridges. those subtanks were a pain in the rear, but after a few mods to not allow the enemy to build superweapons, i had the battlefield to my fingertips. I would reinact the Cyborgs rising, create Veseroid camps and have my techies run through the tib. trapped in the walls, then unleash them upon the enemy. OH, if the randomization was correct i would have a lake separate the land into 3 parts: one for the enemy, one for me, and one for the veins. >

Lol. You have to understand. I grew up with Gundam, Mechwarrior, and Command and Conquer. I love mechs, and yes i do think that someday we will have a biped mech(doesnt have 2 be a titan) roaming the battlefield. Im not saying tanks and rocket bikes will be extinct. Please keep in mind that this topic is to allow persons to express his/her favorite unit, not debate it. I understand what you mean by my claim to the mech being the future, but like i said, that is what i believed at the time.

For the releasal of RA3, yes this will allow RA units. My favorite little unit in the RA Universe: the IFV. The most versatile, customizable, cheap, kick ass unit i have ever seen. lol

Never a big fan on Generals, but still gave it a try. Did not consider it true C&C material at first but it then dawned on me. I will give Gen2 a try. Needs cutscenes and the classic HUD tho.

Yeah I found out about this from CnCWorld. Ticked me off too. At first 2 me the news about this blew away all the promise and hope EA gave me. This explains the "ackward missions with multiplayer maps and unit spawning out, the poorly designed global conquest (i was expecting a more classic C&C 1 capture by state and country (like Emperor Battle For Dune)and fully destroy your enemy, not meeting an objectives to win), and the short campaign. My only kudos for this team is bringin my cyborgs and mechs back. But even the cyborgs arent imune to tib. Did EA not expect us to find out about this backseat driver?
