I wish EA would add an easy way to import new maps. Like being able to add the zip via the launcher... Hey, Apoc, you reading this?

It's much better than before. They got rid of a lot of annoying small UI bugs. Now I just wish they could make it faster. It especially take a long time to join a TF2 game. No matter how fast computer you have.

I actually didn't watch this one until now that I have fully played the game. I guess I was afraid of spoilers. Maybe if Kane was eaten by wild dogs then we would have gotten a better conclusion. Joking aside, Joe always have some good jokes in store. Great. Sorry for resurrecting an old topic.

I'm also craving for this episode. It will answer a key part about our antagonist in the game. Since I assume he is the same person as the one in the comic. Or am I totally wrong here?

C&C4 didn't contribute much to the story. It more or less just told us things we already knew about Kane and then we saw him enter an overlord's asshole and disappear. How is that for conclusion? ****

I've put in a few hours now. I will play until I am level 20 with both GDI and Nod and then play some more. I guess until it's no longer any fun, which won't be too long I think.

This is unfortunately a grey area, mainly because this can be used both legally and illegally. For the sake of staying on good terms with EA, or at least I believe this is the reason, CNCNZ does not allow the discussion of cracks etc. So I doubt there is any chance of it getting on here. My thoughts: If you bought the game, cracking it is legal and you should have no moral problems doing it what so ever. I just hope that EA will uphold their promise to patch and remove the DRM when they stop supporting the game. My prime concern now is that the game is so tied in to EA's servers it will be hell for EA properly patch it and make it client-side so they really won't bother. It will just cost too much.

One giant problem with C&C4 is that there is no way to add people to the friends list unless you are in the same channel as them. The only thing you can do is use /tell to message them. Useless. There are about ten other big UI issues in C&C4. Like not being able to double click games in the lobby, I mean WTF? The game should remember what type of game you last played, so you can quickly play it again. It should remember the faction you last played with so you don't have to select that every frigging time! These things are so damn annoying. Sorry for my little rant.

And you're saying that getting a tattoo won't hurt? Just remember that this is not easily reversible.

I play C&C mostly for the story. If there had been no story, I wouldn't have been here. The story is what have kept me interested, and it is what has always made me hunger for more. Gameplay wise, it has been fun. I have many fond memories of playing the C&C games. But still, it is the story that is C&C to me.

I agree with many things that you say Apoc, but I disagree that Kane's presence in RA1 was "a parody" and I disagree with your statement that there were a lot of confusion. Kane's appearance has a clear impact on the story, something even you guys used in C&C4 ("I've spent thousands of years here...", etc). RA1's story is every bit as serious as TibDawn's story is. The confusion you mention first appeared when RA2 was released and had no reference to the past games story-wise. I think that was a mistake. RA2 was confusing, RA1 was not.

I've downloaded all the maps. Hopefully I will give them a try.

I'm glad I won a copy. You can have (great) fun with this game, but it isn't worth 50 bucks. That's my 2 cents.

I agree with most points. One thing that really annoyed me is that you lose all the XP if you lose a mission. That is just so stupid. It should be patched to oblivion. Sooooooo stupid!!

I just finished the campaign and I agree 100%. They said that there wouldn't be a bright light in the end like C&C3, but isn't that exactly what we got? I wanted to know who and what Kane was god damnit. Why was he here? We got none of these answers. Rubbish.

I wouldn't do it. It may be cool now but in like 10 years you might think to yourself "This tattoo does not suit me anymore". Consider getting something else, like a necklace with the GDI/Nod logos. It shows your affection in a similar way, and you can take it off like a pair of shoes.
