So every successful single player game is a gimmicky title? So that means every refined genre of games that have seen success in the past is a gimmick because it's solo play? Yeah, this guy is an idiot. Not everything is a social experience and gaming is one of them. However, in his defense, gaming can easily be just as social as going out to the movies or what have you. In any case, this guy is a dip****.

I could never get into it no matter how hard I tried. I always felt that it was a subpar experience and a bad representation of the Dune universe.

I don't have the full OEM version to test yet.

Look at the trigger closely. See where that 2 is? Just before that none? That's what tells the game which side to use. 1 is Allies, 2 is Soviets, 3 is Yuri and 0 is any.

The trigger is telling the Allies to use it. That's why it doesn't work. Also, only medium, and, presumably, hard AIs will even try to use it. I think that's intended at least. I don't think you need the secondary TeamType attached either. Probably another reason why you don't see it in use. Also, you don't need to have the same naming style as Westwood. I use my own for sanity and it works just fine.

Still lots and lots of Borderlands 2. I can't wait for the Mechromancer.

If you're using NPatch, you need a new section called [uISettings] then add UseSpecialThirdUI=yes. That should be enough to use the new sidebar.

If you get a black screen after running the game, try minimizing and returning to the game. I've heard that work for people.

I've clocked 40 hours on it already so far and I'm still on Playthrough 1. Still feels like there's a ****load left to do too.

You're not. For whatever reason, the forum isn't using Saracen's avatar properly so it's displaying broken image text. Might just go remove his avatar and see if that fixes it. [EDIT] Even the ACP showed the thing as broken so I just removed it. No more broken layout.

I'm against it. The people pushing it need to enter the Digital Age instead of trying to continually live in the past. The old business models don't work anymore. It's time to enter the new age and get with the programs. There's always that or the ever brilliant idea of giving people an incentive to actually purchase content. And DRM is doin' it wrong.

Have you disconnected and reconnected everything like I told you to do? If you have, or even if you haven't, yank the power cord out of the power supply and hold the power button down for 30 to 40 seconds. That will discharge the capacitors and, hopefully, clear any lingering static that might be present.

Be prepared for a glorious experience. Everything is so different from the first one, but it's also the same. Quests are sooooooooo much better this time around. And there's a lot to do.

Borderlands 2. Clocked lot of hours already and only level 16. If you're looking for a ****ing amazing game to spend some time playing, this is it.
