The GameCube has ten times better marketability but they didn't sell well because the PS2 was out already and the Xbox had the overly hyped Halo. The Cube is the party machine but we established that. But also has enough variety to keep any gamer of any age busy. Resident Evil and Eternal Darkness for the older crowd, like us, and Smash Bros Melee or The Wind Waker, which kicked ass, for the younger crowd. quality > quantity

Bad comparison. Halo isn't new, Killzone is. It had better beat Halo. Killzone is lame. I played 2 missions and was so put off, I returned it. HL2 is the undisputed king.
