Sorry but I don't like n00bed up rules files. J-Fire_Man, my AI will be insane when I'm done with it. Frenzy will have the toughest AI you can imagine once I get it to use vehicles more frequently. I have the Soviet AI utilizing its air force and the Allies using Mirages and Prisms together. They're deadly and they'll be more so on PR1 of YR Frenzy.

The XBOX is not a console. Its a glorified computer in a console box. Stupid XBOX.... But that glorified computer has Fable. Besides, the Cube owns anyway.

Show me what you did in the theme file. You have to remove the semicolons in front of the numbers near the top as well. -

Yes, you can convert cars and buses to player buildable. Give them a prerequisite and a TechLevel. Making the AI use them is a little tricky so hold off on that for a little while. And no problem. -

1) Almost true. Each of the unit lists can only go up to 100 or the AI goes crazy. There is no way around it as far as we know. 2) Yes, indeed it is. It requires some thememd.ini editing. All you have to do is take the theme.mix from an RA2 CD, copy it to your RA2 folder, rename it expandmd##.mix. Replace ## with a number ABOVE 10. Remove the semi-colons in front of the RA2 songs and you're done. 3) You might say you can, you might say you can't. We have fake superweapons and you can replace old ones but you cannot have a totally new one with a timer and target cursor. -
What about Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem? That's a pretty freaky game.

Task forces aren't complicated but they can be overwhelming at first. Get DeeZire's INI Editing Guide and read the AI file. He explains everything you need to know. You can use Notepad, Wordpad or even Word. The most used is Wordpad.

Like I said before, don't use TibEd. Use the INI files. The [TaskForces] are in the AI file.

Need help with AI in RA2/YR

Use the INI files. Extract them with the XCC Mixer and read some tutorials for INI editing. There are some for adding Chrono Tanks alone. There are 5 INI files you should with which to concern yourself: rules(md), art(md), sound(md), rmg(md) and ai(md). Rules controls all weapon, warhead, projectile and unit statistics along with a ton of other game and AI settings. Art controls just that, the images. Sound controls the in-game audio sounds BUT NOT THE EVA SOUNDS. RMG controls the Random Map Generator. AI control the game AI. Adding the Chrono Tank and making the AI use it. 1) Create the unit entry and weapon entry. Projectile as well if you made a new one. 2) Add your unit to the [VehicleTypes] list. 3) Add the unit to the art file. 4) Open the AI file and add it to the desired [TaskForce].
