He left out my favorite: Yuri. Yuri owns everyone. -
I forgot that. Sorry. I don't know what it could be. It seems rather odd. You might have to reformat again. :|

Get in and scan for spyware. I've fixed computers that had every known piece of which and they were screaming after I got done with them. Might even be a virus. Spyware has an effect even in the boot phase. :|

Need help with AI in RA2/YR
Doctor Destiny replied to Silverdragon8567's topic in Editing Discussion
Tip 1: Don't use TibEd for this. There's two ways to do this - 1) Simply add your unit to an existing TaskForce. 2) Make a new TaskForce and everything associated with it. The first is great for quick mods that just want the AI to use the new units. The second is better for mods that almost rewrite the whole AI file. -
Start with the basic grunts and work your way up finishing with Volkov or someone similar.

I have zero problems with RA2/YR, TS/FS, SC/BW on XP. They run just fine; no lag at all.

Command & Conquer Generals online router problems
Doctor Destiny replied to matrix3412's topic in Tech Discussion & Support
What's the link for the tutorial? This isn't that hard of a problem. There's one of two possibilities: 1) Your router won't/can't esatblish a connection and there's nothong you can do. 2) Your ISP won't allow you to connect to the gaming servers. -

Odd. Hmmmm.... This might be harder than I thought. I'm not really sure. Try resetting your modem by unplugging it. See if that helps. -

Do you have the opened set to the proper connection type? Were you supposed to open them TCP or UDP? Check the tutorial again and check your connection type. If all else fails, connect your line directly to your computer. One last thing, you don't need a firewall if you have a router. -
Might simply be the processing power of the computer. It might not have as much as your own so it would take a little longer. Try 45 minutes for the damn thing to away and start up. <_<

I have Norton Corporate. I recommend Norton for anyone. McAfee is crap; took 2 hours to scan my computer but with Norton, it's 30 minutes.
