Occupy Wall Street started as an okay idea, but it devolved quickly. I don't like it. Nothing but a bunch of whining hippies pissed because they don't have what they think they're entitled to.

The Next CNCNZ.com Design - What Do You Want?
Doctor Destiny replied to Sonic's topic in Site / Forum News & Discussion
If you actually have ideas, we have a staff forum for this exact reason, or is this code for something else? -
I want it but I can't afford it, like everything else. It's good though. It's like a mix of Borderlands and Fallout 3/NV.

Damn. EA used the same copy protection method in Generals? Holy lolz.

Please Help, Invisible Unit
Doctor Destiny replied to Korrupt86's topic in Red Alert 2 / Yuri's Revenge Maps & Modding
The Osprey is an aircraft so it cannot attack other aircraft without the aid of Ares (or NPatch, which I do not recommend). -
http://www.break.com/game-trailers/game/sp...-million-people If you're like me, you've played SC3K. This guy straight conquered that ****. I can only get as high a few million, but this guy... way beyond that.

It's nice and all, but I'd still be inclined to buy a better cooling system.

I've never owned an Apple product either, but he did have a profound impact on technology as a whole, and it's undeniable.

There really aren't any mods that enable just those things. Plenty of mods enable the leftovers as part of the whole mod. For instance, Shockwave for Zero Hour. It enables many of the unused voices and most of the concepts cut from ZH. Several RA2+ and YR+ mods enable Howitzers, Hinds and other things cut from the game; I've implemented some of the cut voices in my YR projects. TS Retro (and probably TS: TW) enable a few Tiberian Sun leftovers.

Electronic Arts suing Energy Armor
Doctor Destiny replied to PurpleGaga27's topic in Off-Topic Discussion
In this case, they look similar, although Energy Armor's is much ****tier. However, my point is that companies have the same initialisms quite often so you're going to have the same letters representing the company. Invariably, someone might even have a similar logo design. Whether Energy Armor purposefully used the same style is probably up for debate, but it doesn't negate my point. Look at the WWF vs WWF fiasco years ago. Neither had to budge. Why can't two distinct entities with different logos use the same initialism? Granted, this EA vs EA debacle is open and shut, but I side with neither company on this one. Our EA definitely was not losing money from the stupid EA using a strikingly similar logo. If you confuse the products, you're an idiot. It's up to the consumers to ensure they're not being idiots, but I know this is extremely difficult for many people. -
Electronic Arts suing Energy Armor
Doctor Destiny replied to PurpleGaga27's topic in Off-Topic Discussion
Electronic Arts? Sending warning letters? Yeah right. They probably found it, called them, Energy Armor said **** off so Electronic Arts decided to sue. Companies have similar initialisms. It's a fact of the business world. How the hell can you even trademark letters? -
Tiberian Sun has a few things. RA2 is loaded with unused stuff. There's even a few things in Generals and Zero Hour. Westwood (and EA Pacific) has a habit of leaving unused things in the game's files.

It was inevitable really. Cancer is pretty hard to cure, or at least get into remission. It's worse for pancreatic cancer.

Electronic Arts suing Energy Armor
Doctor Destiny replied to PurpleGaga27's topic in Off-Topic Discussion
If anyone got the Energy Armor logo confused with Electronic Arts, they deserve to lose their money. This is like Sega suing the Sonic drive-in fast food chain years ago for "deceptive advertising." I hope EA (you know which one) loses this fight so they'll just shut up, go back to making mediocre games and making more than enough scratch. Electronic Arts needs to get over themselves. -
I got to see BF3 up close and personal while I was hanging out with my brother. The game looks amazing; it's a shame EA is forcing their bull**** on people. I'd really love to get the game.

I'm on 7.0.1 finally. I like the speed improvements. You can enable showing the http protocol in the URL anyway so it's not a big deal. -
C&C Reborn Mod to be Taken Over by Bluehell Productions?
Doctor Destiny replied to RainXc's topic in Command & Conquer News
This cannot end well. From what I remember, there used to be quite a bit of fighting between the RenAlert and Reborn teams. Maybe that's changed since then. -
In a word, yes.

I run Windows 7 Pro 64-bit and I have Zero Hour working just fine. I'm not sure if you're aware, but having an admin account on W7 does not mean you're a full admin; you can just elevate to admin permissions without Windows bitching at you. In any case, I have ZH set XP SP2 compatibility while running as admin, and it works fine. Something tells me that your massive anti-virus protection is causing you more issues than it solves. In fact, disable all of that extra bull**** and see what happens. [EDIT] Now that I think about it, "scripting your anti-virus engines to work together" just sounds like a bold-faced lie.

You have to run YR with Windows 98/ME compatibility for some reason. RA2 works, but YR breaks. I had the same issue and that cleared it right up.
