C&C 12th Anniversary - Get The Original C&C Free!
splintercellguy replied to Sonic's topic in Command & Conquer News
Think so. You can easily mount the ISO with DAEMON Tools. -
The exact error codes and an MSDN consultation may help.

Um, the whole point of this thread is to ask whether you would be interested in using the NEWLY RELEASED SDK?

Yes, patching/reverse engineering. Porting is a different matter though. -

Mm, wish that could happen, but the project maintainers seem to have abandoned the project a while ago. SVN history shows periodic bursts of activity, but other than that...: http://sourceforge.net/project/stats/detai...p;mode=12months -
Command & Conquer's 12th Anniversary Celebration

That would be serious work, might as well remake the game from scratch. The compiler Westwood used back in 1994/5 is quite dated. Perhaps we should all work on the FreeCNC project from SVN? -

There was the FreeCNC project, but it seems to be currently abandoned: http://sourceforge.net/projects/freecnc Latest source is in SVN, svn co if desired, though the build environment is annnoying. -
SDK = Software Development Kit, in the more conventional sense it's a set of apps, headers, etc. you need to write programs for a particular platform. In C&C 3 it's a bunch of files you need to make mods. The whole of a MOD(IFICATION) is that you're MODIFYING game files.

I think usually the FDS won't start with one player, but there are server.dat patches to allow gameplay to commence with one person.

Tiberian Sun Rising for Command & Conquer 3!
splintercellguy replied to Sonic's topic in Command & Conquer News
Instead of complaining about the shortcoming of a mod, perhaps you could...fix it? There aren't enough hours in the day for one person to make everything 100% perfect. -

No, the hole is simply a cosmic joke from God: goatse. -
I'll get to that eventually. My webcam is acting s****y, and I just woke up after trying to fall asleep so I ain't much in the mode for trying to toy with it. ever heard of a real camera  Yes, I'll totally buy a $3000 camera to post a picture of myself on an Internet forum, totally.
