There are some pretty stupid comments in there. Oh yeah, it 100%looks like Halo (Nevermind that Mr. "oh so great" Masterchief is a knockoff of Dooms Marine)!. Alright, its 0% CnC (Lets forget the Titans, Orcas, GDI uniforms and EVA for a sec)! Christ...lets find some other superb reasons to fiercely hate EA...again!

Neat-o!

Naturally but the game still plays like Generals. Indeed it does. But why then am i bored to tears everytime i try to play Generals (Which i did multiple times since it came out), whereas i was excited with TW for six months?

I get a "TS but decades later" vibe of this, which is great. Halo isnt much of an issue since the gameplay is totally different.

For me it plays like RA2/TD

And a story, trademark units, FMVs, better design, a unique build system and atmosphere...

Tiberium Trailer to Debut at GameTrailers.com

Hopefully. They did say though that the AI was of paramount importance. -
Hes still enthusiastic, but they tried to make him more human, imho, not just a typical badass (And imho, his plan in CnC3 was awsome enough ). I am going to be happy though if they keep him as he was back in 1999 in the first act of KW. John said they did.

I was surprised how story-driven they make the game out to be. And we can have tons of CGI movies now in a CnC game again? Sound and art direction is flawless. -

1 and a half hours! Cant wait! -
Yeah New ones Man, twelve campaigns! Awesome! Well, either the missions are very simple, or someone wrote "campaign" instead of "missions" intro the teleprompter!

I asked John (CnCfiles) wheter KW Kane is similar to that (Since i got this "Different Kane" vibe as well), and he said (and i paraphrase): Somewhat. He just doesnt say anything about mobiles

As said in the other thread, this is beyond megalotastic. If only all FMVs would be this good!

Roundtable Discussion #4: The New Year Edition
hagren replied to Sonic's topic in Command & Conquer News
Yay! Apoc kept his promise and posted the rtd4 on the offical site -
One of the worst game demos ive ever had the "pleasure" to play. Graphics are from the ninth century, while it demands a machine from the 22nd. The design is poor, so comical that it hurts, as do the unit commands. Also, the main premise of the game has been watered down into absolute meh-ness. Its just not recent enough anymore.

Was the swearing really necessary? After all, CnC was never different and at no time meant to be different than CnC3 is. Its a highly enjoyable polished classic RTS, with a lengthy campaign and a very high coolness factor, respectively a superb entry point for RTS newcomers as well. Simple, but superb in what it tries to do. And as the people have to be open to UaW, it also applies to CnC3. There are various ways you can play the game in skirmish or campaign, outside the "FTW!" online community, which i did it for 6 long months, and i rarely play. Sometimes games are supposed to be just entertainment. UaW on the other hand started on completely different terms. Its all about variety, customization and strategy and delivers better than any game in this respect (Starcraft the RTS with the most distinct races? Yeah, and my name is Kane). However, innovation isnt everything. I wont pass any judgement before i somehow get to play the full version, but the demo and the beta didnt impress me enough, altough it reinforced how well and diverse the factions are thought out and made (Not that i ever doubted UaW in that respect) . I found the overall design (mission and visual-wise) and atmosphere to be lacking in the demo. However, no matter what, yes, the walkers and Franks music pawns. But the critics seem to have a point, and exactly what theyre critisizing is why id want to play it.
