ok, i got some time, so i think i will post this just to share thoughts and some fun! here are an assortment of screenshot i took during gameplay: this is one of those common phenomenon appeared throughout the missions, even your obvious enemy is GDI, I mean GDI vs GDI, or Nod vs Nod, you would still get this!! and thats when i realized this not even a finished game..... this is how commander keithktam likes to waste GDI funding... its like, yea, being a commander and all, I do have the luxury to call down you boys when I like and where I like, and thats not a bloody thing you can do about it!! say bye to my bitch... and I think this is Sam Bass's favorite crayon as a child.... and this is Sam Bass Senior: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_Bass this is what you get to eat if you should choose to follow our messiah: i just don't think this thing would help much out on the battlefield.... its not even a clipper i can use to cut the wire!!

yeah, finished nod as well. don't want to brag about the ending, you all know what it was. hmmm, perhaps i should just write a few thought before off again. the last two missions were , well not hard, but just deeply annoying i guess. i felt like me and Geidion are kids or total losers playing with sand on a beach. you captured some of my detonation devices and i will pay back by taking back some of yours! you know, like the scene in dumb and dumberer, where the two losers at it in the seven eleven store with the fingers...... then the colonel jame's ship, like flying on flames for like, i don''t know some light years, and still flying, yea, very high tec indeed. and it also like to bomb empty ground, may be she hates squirrel, dunno... and sometime she likes to make it really easy for me, just kinda land on the ground and let me fire at it for like a 5 mins then take off again, may be she was teasing me.... anyway, got that bitch down finally, and also had a few major crashes along the way, so glad it finished, so that my OCD won't force me playing it again, this game post a serious hazard on my life. i think i will still have it on my pc for a while, cause i finished everything, though only in normal difficulty, i can't get even get to level 12, so i might still stick around with this game for just a little longer trying out the other units and crawlers... and just a thought right about now...i think they should just release the SDK and let us finish the game in our own terms. keith

can anyone tell me how to defend heavy slow units from a crippled, but full health Nod Commando?? they are hard to kill and surprisingly fast and they like to use that annoying emp style trick that stop the targeted unit, and the most annoying bit actually is that once you destroyed your ex-unit, the stupid commando respawned with full health picking the next target... so how do you guys do it??

so a tier2 unit's laser better than tier 1 unit's laser?? if this is true, it can hardly be noticable, from my experience, if i use laser on a heavy(laser vulerable) unit, that unit hp drop so fast that, i mean, would a better laser make any different?? or see it on the inside; if a tier 1 rocket does little damage to a unit, would a tier 2 or 3 do better?? just trying to understandt the mechanics of this wierd game.... (can be enjoyable sometimes)

Ok, this i want to get deeper. i just getting used to the game, and found out they have a weapon's class system, so basically stone, paper and scissors. each weapon for a particular group of enemies. but why bother making higher tiers?? i mean, if only one type of weapon effective against one group of enemies while the others basically do nothing, so why increasing the fire power, lets say a tier2 unit with a rocket weapon's class?? it surely does well against Scalpel and alikes, but would have nest to no effect to tanks or infantry, do you see what i mean?? again, would appreciate all your wisdom, i just try to straighten out some fact, so i can enjoy the game a little bit more. thanks!!!

So I finally got around to getting C&C 4...

hey man, i tried switching to defense class, but still got beaten badly, so i changed back to offense and tried to blow up as many enemies' crawler as possible, like 6 now i think, then they brought out all these Scalpel..... and i am stucked... so how did you use the defense class, i think strategically it made more sense, cause you can over more ground, but i only got bunkers to built and some infantry, the zoneraiders, enforcers etc. just sin't effective enough. EA now is the biggest corporate ass in the bizz! corporate never or rarely makes good game cause they treat every aspect of the process straightly bizz and profits, they have no real passion for art and entertainment, so how would they make good games!!? i know they still have a lot of good titles, yeah, they just haven't messed with those teams yet, wait and see!! when the devil of money process those butt head again, they would do exactly to other franchises they "bought" like what has happened here. General is exact corporate attitude. US government wanted to make a game to promote the then to be war in Afghan, and every corporation have a tendency to buy in the government's idea, this is where EA came to the scene, hijacking the franchise/title they just bought in from westwood and make this game that has no connection to C&C, except you are a "commander" in the game. similar thing: transformer movies, take a look at the new trailer:dark moon. and you will see what i mean. i actually ok with the game so far, with enjoyable moments. But! like many of you said, it is not C&C4, i would have forgiven them if it is a spin off or side kick thing, an experiment or alternative experience from the most beloved franchise of all time. i really wish they should have done, because i actually might like the game that way, instead of now, i lost in the world of C&Cs...to the world of NOD.... -

Hi, i have been playing RA3 again and this time playing skirmishes with empire. as i got better with the control with the empire, i slowly progressed into harder scenario. and i got f*kup badly when i took on two hard AI teamed! i chose to fight against Allied (Hard) and Soviet (hard). they just use huge amount of aerial assault right at the beginning none stop. i was at my back all the time. I tried many different strategy, first, i tried the always works method with lower AI, which is the tengu raid, but would not work with two team up hard AI. so i tried building lots lots of anti air turret, it wouldn't work either cause by building such a large amount of base defenses at the beginning, it put a huge drag to the finances and no money spending on more refineries just made it so much harder.... then i tried to rush my build tree to try to get a upgraded mecha bay to get some of those VX choppers, failed, cause they just kept bomb the **** out of my base, there was a time i got real cranky because when i finally had five VX and the f*ing soviet used the magnetic satellite on my VX chopper. at the end, the one strategy that kept me survived the longest was to shrink my base area and used the same amount of anti air turret to form a tighter and more focused defense. the end result was that they coordinated a huge massive aerial bombardment twice with every airplane they had on me. i always thought i would die because of the two superweapons they built earlier in the game: proton collider and the vacuum imploder...... guys help me out here please!

Hi, i am planning to do a mod. But i need to get the facts of RedAlert universe right before moving on. So would like to ask a few questions. I went to the command and conquer wiki and discovered a few "ChronoFacts", the first RedAlert Conflict was in the 50s started by stalin (with Einstein time intervention). but the wiki stated that the RA 2 started on 1972, now here the questions on science and technology... how many years in terms of S&T have advanced due to the time travel by Einstein and of course his intense involvement and contribution on S&T during the war? the reason i asked was because I saw they use modern computer during the first FMV of RA2, not the apple or IBM version in the 80's, but liked the one in the 90's with the big monitor and all. the second reason was because during the whole game, i saw no 70's cultural reference of america or GB, it felt more like late 80's with big champ on burger restaurant... would be appreciated for any help. and would be grateful if those info can be backed by some official stuffs, you know what i mean -

i just realized EA stole a lot of stuff from StarCraft2, they probably think they are corporately clever. i don't think i have to state much to prove cause you guys for sure have noticed for a long time anyway. i remember they said about how they didn't want to make the ship's propulsions look like frame but a more non flame like cause they think it was better?? they did it because they saw StarCraft 2 ships flame and copied it, and they made you believe that spent great effort to do that to make they game good and unique.... the second one was slightly off rail a little bit; they said that they hated C&C4 to have a repeated/used credit system, namely Tib harvesting mechanism, and they also said that the new story of C&C4 would need a new mechanism because of the introduction of TCN. Now i am sure you guys know the real reason for that.... i think the truth is in reverse: they wanted a new mechanism right at the beginning and they created TCN and the story to wrap around it. -
Hi, can anybody tell me how i can use firefox to save an image?? i know, right clicking didn't work. I didn't have a pop up menu that have "save image as" option. though sometimes for some reason that option kinda available, but when i got in, you have to specify as jpeg, the save as column was blanked..... please help!! cheers. i did update my fox.... sometimes the right clicked options are different, especially when you middle roll down the image(which sometimes are needed if i want to view it first) the options would not include the "save image as", however i discovered that once you click in to the save image window, just click save and fox would do the rest for you, never mind to worry the save as format, as i was concerned before...
