I still play the original command and conquer on my nintendo 64

I am having a real problem trying to rename units. When I make a new unit I usually just copy an in-game character. So when I play the mod it always has the same name as the unit I copied. I figured out that the UI name is what controls what shows up in the game but when I changed it the game said it couldn't be found in the menu. So what gives?

I said I was a lazy guy. And I said before I couldn't find squat on the internet about how to mod tiberian sun. I already knew how to mod Generals but that was it. and I had to learn to do generals on my own. when I went to do a mod on tiberian sun I looked in the directory expecting some .big files. I saw a total of like 40 files and none looked like mod files.

okay. well I sat on the freaking internet all day looking for a guide to add new units with an editor or without and found nothing. so it doesn't matter anyways now does it? and I sure as hell don't want to get help from some guy that makes a huge freaking deal about someone using an editor. what are you? 6? so that means you must have been 4 two years ago. cause I don't think anybody older would care about something that much.

Lol. I'm forced to agree with Alpha Bear. People who want to make small changes like cash amounts and such don't want to learn how to do all of that in Notepad. They want an easy way so that they can do what they want to do then go and play the game.

Well I guess that I'm just a lazy non modder guy who uses Tibed. Lol. I learned how to do modding using Notepad. I just like having a mod done in no time.

I think you would have to go the vehicles menu under rules and art and add it as a vehicle. then you would have to make the animation settings like that of another aircraft. that's just an idea as I have yet to make it work

I'm new too. Are you trying to just change different settings or trying to put in new units and such?
