  1. It's actually based on TWA, was a gag years back on thundermods and was created by shmafoo iirc.
  2. Looks like it belongs to the ones from the cloning facility in Uprising, probably unused.
  3. How such a box is created is written in the offical documentation of TW. That you can just place a separate model for only the pickbox is only logic, but not recommended as every draw slows the game down. Also no one of the forgotten team managed to get real mission objectives working, which is one of the easiest things there is. Shows what they know. Docking at an allied airfield worked in Generals, dunno about TW, maybe they messed something up, but I don't really have the time to check. Venom is a pretty complicated thing with bugs even if you don't send it via an ally so I didn't mess with it much.
  4. Only thing in a game which I know of that's really naked: (don't click if you cannot handle it, @mods feel free to remove the link if deemed inappropriate) http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m54ogn1LNb1ro1i4i.jpg
  5. In all seriousness, the actual pvp gameplay in the final version wasn't so bad, it just wasn't what people wanted. I still have a very high opinion for the actual people who developed the game to create what they did with the amount of time they had. Also you can basically really see where they had time and gave props and stuff tons of details, while others such as most faction units and structures are obviously rushed. The same disparity is also visible with a lot of particle effects.
  6. He was busy gathering stuff for his dam when the picture was taken ;D
  7. "naked women model (well there was stuff to cover the body" Well it seems the woman wasn't naked then oO Seriously sometimes I really dislike guys who see a woman with somewhat revealing clothes calling them naked. Naked == no clothes.
  8. When TT was still Arena it should have had a lot of different battlefields, and remember it was also experimental until the execs said "we don't want to pay for experiments anymore, slap something with that together, you've got x months". Also I believe the Panda should have been in RA3.

    Kane's Wrath beta footage

Mechapede looks the same to me, though I haven't played in quite a while but cannot remember it differently. Also the MARV thing was also to be seen in the first few videos of TW where the Mammoths had the same awkward thing going on until they toned it down. KW is based on some early or 1.0 version of TW, so no wonder there.
  10. But it's still good enough for you to rip off their assets.
  11. TT is like 3 bucks when on sale and was basically given away a thousand times.

    Engineering problem

You actually didn't need to copy the special power as the upgrade needed is set in the SpecialAbility behavior with the line "StartsPaused = Yes" removing that would have had the intentioned effect (and removing the UnpauseSpecialPowerUpgrade behavior as it isn't needed anymore)
  13. I didn't mean to contradict you, just the other people here. Yes settings in the gamedata.ini are default settings for the WorldBuilder basically, but these settings are saved per map. Also yes making your map about 20 units bigger at the sides is important, otherwise you have really ugly cutoffs which are especially visible on uneven terrain.
  14. Pickbox and healthbar doesn't get bigger arbitrary, it gets bigger because... well it takes up more space on the screen.

    WrathEd 2 beta

Plokite: maybe he just renamed the file? As you can also see in that topic just before his post I posted the most recent official version. Also if you look at the github code I linked you'll see that WE2 doesn't even use xml definitions but uses dlls. Seriously, I'm the sole creator of WE, don't you think I would know if any version was released? Esp when I said over and over again that WE2 will be a complete rewrite and overhaul, while all downloads you see are basically the same code + xml definitions. Bibber who made a few changes and released the gamma stuff are not recognized by me as official versions as they introduce quite a few bugs (go ask $e7en if you don't believe me about the bugs).

    WrathEd 2 beta

Long time not updated but this is the only stuff available on the internet for WE2: https://github.com/Qibbi/WrathEd/tree/master/WrathEd2

    WrathEd 2 beta

There was never a public beta (or closed) for WrathEd 2.
  18. Geometry is for ingame collision checks, the model itself has boxes for picking (W3DCollisionBox referenced by a CollisionBox element in the RenderObject element of the SubObject element of the W3DContainer).
  19. There were already Halo mods for C&C which all got cease and desist letters from Microsoft.
  20. You guys are all weird installing the SDK again instead of just copying it from an older installation But iirc EA made no move to own anything released as a mod, unlike other companies. If you don't include anything from their games they don't care, but if you do then all hell will break loose over you (if you are commercializing it).
  21. Atm it seems that even if you didn't research it the first time, when you repair stuff it will get the armor, so use one upgrade that triggers the shield overall (playerupgrade) and one to check if it's active, though you can just do that by checking for the shieldbody enabled thingy, and setting it. Open the WB, check the scripts for the scrupt which can set object statuses, use it with random stuff, save the map, check the xml for the script name and then use ExecuteAction
  22. Currently my internet is down and I'm at a friend now, looking over Raven's answer I would suggest the same, though I'm not sure you even need LUA for it, though it's certainly the easiest way. Approved and recommended. (The drone thing is bs ;D and instead of an upgrade just give it model conditions like USER_X directly)
  23. WrathEd shouldn't even need any KW installation to be present for compiling or viewing. Maybe that's Bibber's weird batch file which gave you errors. The launcher idk, Bibber wrote that because he didn't like the one I made, personally I have my own or just edit the skudef myself. Bibber usually published versions because he felt like a batch file was needed etc (I compile manually setting the parameters myself)
  24. I guess so too, also remember in older screenshots there are often police cars etc present in the cities. Additionally even TW in Germany was changed a lot (they didn't want to risk it getting banned again like Generals was) where a nuke was called "Aurora Missile" and stuff like that. Also Terrorists don't kill themselves (visually) but their death animation is them running away (which is why it's basically the only unit which has the death fade in it, and for no apparent reason for non-german players, so versions are compatible). @Egozi: there's no such thing. Also obviously the game would run smoother if EALA had been given more time to polish it. Remember TW came out at the time where EA was throwing unfinished games out left and right with mostly only a half year development time. TW running as good as it does shows how competent the devs were.
