errr, no. You're probably underage, otherwise you'd just go to a shop... Common sense really

And then I come along and reduce them down to just one Please keep smilies down to a minimum, 8 is more than enough. Anymore and they will disappear. Anyway... Time for another list on the "Currently Listening" thread I think. Mnemic: The Audio Injected Soul - A Heavy metal Band from Denmark. They have a similar sound to the legendary Fear Factory with the Industrial Cyber Metal theme, but ultimately a very good strong performance. Kristian Leontiou: Some Day Soon - Now it's extremely rare these days for me to step into mainstream music and pick out a talented Singer/Songwriter who appears in the Top 40 Chart and doesn't sing Metal. Kristian is a 22 year old guy from North London here in the UK and is a very similar style to ex Savage Garden's Darren Hayes. Why I like him I cannot explain, but I just had to buy this guys album. He is simply Raw talent!! Papa Roach: Getting Away With Murder - Yes I am still listening to this album at least 3 times a week. This is just superb Rock Music and is definately worth a listen, great stuff

Ahh good.. hello dude  I've been trying to write articles for CNCNZ this year, and I've written only one.. which I must say shook this community to the core. This article alone has given me the recognition and alot of extra CNCNZ traffic, which Sonic I am sure is greatful for.. it can be found here: http://www.cncnz.com/features/articles/090704.shtml It doesn't have to be as long as that, but when I write articles from time to time that is the length I aim for... Of course the problem comes in the form of how to go about the next article... Articles about the community all are grouped into the same context and there have been too many of them, so that was kinda the one to end them all I have one lined up for Christmas, but don't have the time to write it yet. Hopefully you should have written at least one, and I look forward to reading your material.

I probably may consider getting it IF and only IF it presents some new concepts to the RTS genre. If it copies all ideas out there including those set up by Perimeter then I'm not going to be interested. The only thing that will make me buy this game is innovation and the promise that it is something more than we hoped for... I've thought this through a bit and realised that if Petroglyph do pull this off then we will see an excellent RTS. How it will attempt to become the new generation RTS, we will have to see. But since the Total War franchise there has only been on RTS King, and it's not C&C.

Yes, but errr, Half life 2 is much better

Funnily enough I got it sorted back in mid October... Been so damn busy up to then I never really come back here to actually say I got it working.. And How did I solve it??? No idea... as I said, I'd sit on it a bit. So I did, then tried another re-installation of Zero Hour just as a final attempt. It worked.. blomin strange :?

I thought I'd go back to Zero Hour and have a few skirmish battles, afterall I was hungry for a 4 way battle... But that hasn't happened, upon starting a game I build a power station and then BOOM! My base blows and I'm reduced to dust... Funnily enough I installed the latest patch which I hadn't done, so I thought I would... Graphics went funny, textures disappeared and the whole game slowed right down since updating... So I updated Graphics drivers and put on DX9c and I thought great I have my graphics back in tow and faster game play once more. Went back to Zero hour to play another Skirmish and KABOOM! another base...gone.. I uninstalled the lot, deleted all folders accosiated with the game, then restarted the machine to clear anything from memory. I re-installed both Generals and Zero Hour and just ran the game on basic without any patches.. What do I get again when I start a Skirmish? KABOOM! Another one of my bases goes down for no reason at all.... I've had no mods, no shell maps, nothing at all which modifies the game in the past, all because of this one patch, I can't play it now... Has there been any other reports of this, cos I wanna multi-nuke the computer

The takeover of Westwood by EA was the Apocolypse... Next topic

Horrible  Ahhh the joys of hype.... At least Half life 2 has a great ending from what the mags say
-
Has he ever defragged the machine? How many background Applications have you got running... try freeing up some RAM... Is the game fully patched? If it's not those, I'll think of some more reasons it could be

Your PC may be fast but how fast is the LAN connection between PC's and are they communicating correctly at all? I'd check connections at all levels to ensure that the PC's you're trying to set up LAN with are actually speaking the same language.

It'll wreak with Emperor ingrediants all over... A mediocre RTS with not enough polish methinks... But they should have stuck with their guns... the only publisher that releases star wars games is LucasArts themselves... I very much doubt this'll be a one game contract somehow

But Bush has no intention of bringing in a pollution bill so with 4 more years under his belt we are likely to be waiting a lot lot longer than we hoped to see the USA join the anti-pollution league... plus considering the USA pollute the earth more than any other country.... That's all I need to say on that... And may I remind you the events on "The day after tomorrow" we're not caused by global warming.. the events that occur within that film are supposed to occur every 10,000 years on average. The fact that they don't are beyond dcientific knowledge, but it has been said that we are currently 50,000 years overdue one of these... which is why the film was made. It intrigued the film makers to make it reality in a movie....

FLOP!!! No Star wars RTS has ever really got off the ground and I doubt this one will either.. Anyway your links don't work ... here's one that does  http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...lm_lucasarts_dc Oh well, I still await the next C&C, I'm into the star wars movies, but F***ing Star Wars games!! NO WAY!! Not worth spending my money on!! I was expecting something more interesting and exciting... What an anti-climax!!!

Yeah but of the majority of the forum population that will not see, or even reply to this thread, it makes me wonder whether or not people are just changing their avatars and signatures for the sake of it.. I have a reason people!!

Oh right, it's just that I thought that there was an extended phpBB package you could get for a set price... I've really gotta start researching these things
-
Yep Yep I've got DVD's, old Games, you name it ready to trade in for this monster title... I would pay money, but then I have to say, this wedding has made me a bit skint  But nevertheless I'm racking up my excitement for this game. I just hope my card can cope with what's thrown at it.... I want it now!!!

You must be a mind reader Sonic, you're exactly right! Although I'm not sure about the white picket fence it has to be said... We're moving into our own place in Early December, so once again I will be offline for a bit to accommodate the move.... we have our hearts set on having a boy and a girl too.. 2 Kids is enough anymore then one can feel left out and that's when fights break out, and anymore than 3 and a royal rumble would be on the cards  Avatar should stay for a long time coming now... it's a great confetti filled photo of myself and my wife. And since it has been the happiest day of my life, I'll never get bored with looking at it... Just need a change to the Signature now

Thanks guys and yes, I AM BACK!!!! Married and happier than ever, no longer a free man to do what I like (Not that I did anyway, I'm a catholic ) Day went grea, no hitches, no stutters all came together like glue.. The reception was great too, my speech had people in tears and I got a massive round of applause at the end of it... great stuff At the moment I'm tired and fatigued, and people are still buying me drinks from shops and stuff to accomodate the fact that they missed me out in the evening.... but anyway, I'll get a few pics posted here, when I can find where I can upload me photo's

That's because he's got a ripped off copy of a $200 forum package or something... It's not actually legit *COUGH*

Well it's closing midnight and once that strikes it'll be 24 hours until November 6th.... This will be my last message of my Freedom so when I return on Sunday or Monday then I'll be married.. 14:00 -/+GMT is the time I get married and believe it or no, no, I'm not nervous... YET I feel dead calm for some strange reason. I wish I could explain why. I've a big smile on my face all the time and I'm alot happier of late, perhaps that's my way of displaying my nerves.. I have no idea.... But anyway, this is me signing off for a few days... The rest of this year is going to be hectic, and the 6th is the start of a busy 2 months ahead of me, anyway I'm falling asleep here... been working my ass off all week.. time to get into bed for the final time as tomorrow night I shall be keeping to tradition and avoiding my lady at all costs...

Once the pkg file is in your Renegade Data folder you can easily play it without having to convert it... all you have to do is host a non-dedicated server and just have a single player within it (yourself) Once you've sorted out all the settings go to the maps area and you'll see a drop down menu... any pkg files are displayed there and should include that elusive Omaha map that you're after... once that's selected just click host game and play it like you would a multiplayer practice... It saves time and the annoying practice of having to convert the file into a .mix and then changing the .ini file to play it.. Hope that helps..
