1) The Red Alert 2 Universe has nothing to do with the Red Alert or Tiberian games... it was a spin-off 2) Yuri died at the end of the soviet YR campaign... the dinosaur had the bastard for dead! Yuri stood no chance 3) The dinosaur missions were just an easter egg like the ants in Red Alert. They had no significance or relation to the stories. 4) Even if it was, the idea of Yuri and Red Alert 2 was not even thought of when Tiberian Dawn was released... Just because there are dinosaurs in 2 games which are 5 years apart doesn't mean they are linked in any way :roll:

I've handled 5 teams before in an 8 way free for all... and I'll add to the fact that was on brutal.. it was damn difficult, I lost a significant portion of my base, but I did it.... Human 8 way free for all is a different matter. The last Red Alert 2 online game I played was one of those...I was bling bling in the money department and had a huge base... Then.... I insulted everybody on the map I was playing with. I made one comment and they didn't like it so they charged for me.... I survived the first wave of attacks (5 medium sized armies, they kept the rest for defense and the other 2 were attacking each other), and kept my Con Yard and refinery and truck... but that was all I had... they released a smaller force and finished me before I could rebuild enough to defend anymore. But it's amazing what 4 nuke power plants, 25+ tesla coils, 40 gun turrets, and numerous bunkers as well as a big goddan army can do to defend a base

I agree here... Unfortunately Ozamist, you know nothing... Red Alert 3 is a huge possibility since it was Harvard Bonin's production that made Red ALert 2 possible... Harvard was passionate about Red Alert 2, so he may still have the idea for a sequal in the back of his mind. As for C&C 3... Don't hold your breath.. this community may have done enough with EA to pressure them into making the game, only time will tell but this game isn't knocked off until EA says so, and they won't cos it's what we want! A sequal to Generals is unlikely, not for a while yet, maybe after C&C 3. Generals had no storyline, so I think it doesn't deserve a sequal... Generals was created as a game which locked into todays events and moved them into the future a bit.... Generals is effectively a response to kick virtual talliban butt and kill a few terrorists along the way... in effect it was a game in response to 9/11. Somew of the Westwood team are still at EA.... There isn't any decent staff or programmers in EA capable of creating an RTS, that's why the few ex Westwood are there.... If EA were to wash their hands of all other ex-Westwood employees, EA would not have a clue on how to create a decent C&C... sure they may succeed in creating a hugely successful RTS, but it will be just another RTS without any traditional C&C ingrediants.

Is it me or is the majority of music these days absolutely crap! The new material that's coming out sounds dreadfulI don't just mean pop & rap music, because that's a load a giant horse dung anyway... But in the rock world there's a mainstream genre that's replaced Nu-metal... and it's called EMO!!! I dunno what it stands for and I don't really care, all I know is that it sounds dreadful... it's a combination of this 80's style indie type rock and a load of depressive droning and terribly composed music.. It's all samey, if there is such a word, it suffers from serious monotomy. It's stale, boring, no real melody or real rhythm. It's refelcted in my Album collection. At one point I used to buy 2-3 albums a month, as time has gone on it's been an album a month. Now it's 2 or 3 albums a year... and that's only from bands I have previous albums from... There's no real new raw talent out there which can blow us away. It's all poorly made crap! Maybe it's because I'm not getting older and my music tastes have narrowed down to the bands I have already established as good in my eyes. I dunno. I love my rock & metal music. Half the fun in listening to it is finding new talent, or bands you never knew existed as you delve deeper into the genre... Maybe I've just gotta get out of this mainstream crap and delve into the underground music again. That's where I found Papa Roach before they were signed to a major label.... The underground rocks anyway, some of the best music comes from there... so long as when I take a look, it isn't EMO crap I'm gonna find :roll:

OK I've added 3 more options to the poll... Somehow I can see the latter shooting up somehow... but I think you should care. America has too much power and say on what's going on in the world.. Those 50 odd states America has are the size of countries!! North America is a continent... Not in a million years should somebody have that much power over such a vast amount of land... really it's outrageous!! America's states should be broken up into 10 or more countries and each country given it's own complete laws and government... True it's impossible and lets face it... America's military would be nothing, the economy although it might suffer, it may actually improve?? Who knows... the American public wouldn't be happy... But they are decended from British colonial trators so who am I to argue :roll: On a slightly different note.... With all the power and wealth America has... is a European superstate so bad afterall??? OK I know I'm contradicting myself now but with a single president that rules and governs an entire continent, wouldn't that help Europe overall and make it somewhere towards as powerful as the USA??? I can see where our Premier Tony Blair is coming from in some ways.. The UK public do not want that... and with Elections of the UK drawing closer.. would Europe throw us out of the union? We'd be alone yes... but I'm sure there are some benefits to not being tied up with Brussels governing some of our more international policies.... Thoughts please.....

Then you have Kerry who I think is all mouth and will be no action... he has the potential to unfabricate every thing good, Bush has done, and make Iraq worse than it already is.... He's promising to pull troops out of Iraq!!! That will leave UK forces in there pretty much alone.... If that happens we'll be lambs to the slaugher... then after loads of losses the UK will pull out... Sounds good but then Iraq will tear itself apart... the terrorists there will get to the interim government, assasinate them, the country declares its own marshal law... The country plunges into civil war... Oil will rise even more sky high because of the war... and the World Economy goes hay wire.. World markets could crash, everything into chaos!!! OK I'm first... basically I've got my wedding coming up in 5 Weeks and 4 days, so I've been busy working on the music for my wedding reception, the first dance and god knows what else.....Lonestar's "Amazed" is the first dance... but anyway, onto my personal taste.. 1) Papa Roach - Getting Away With Murder - For god's sake people if you like rock listen to this will ya... This is not the Papa Roach you once knew in the charts back in 2000, Melody and soul is in this ablum and it's great 2) Killswitch Engage - The End Of Heartache - This band has one of the most accomplished black singers in recent years... yes this band is metal.. and before you say that black people don't do metal, listen to this, this guy is just excellent!!! 3) Nightwish - Once - Scandinavian Gothic Opera Singing... Yes my rock & metal music tastes are strange but this band certainly aren't.... I thought I'd check them out and they've been round since 1997. OK, I just have a thing about Sexy Gothic rock chicks, but I won't go into that.... 4) Frank Klepacki - The C&C Soundtracks - OK it's C&C in-game music.... But Klepacki's music is an art, I love listening to every track. Act on Instinct, Hell March and the heavy metal track "I am" on Tiberian Dawn are my favourites.. I do have more but these at the moment I'm playing on my CD player alot lately....

It's because the Dutch have sense. Most dutch C&C fans who use the internet know that sites like CNCNZ exist. Where as you go to the UK or even worse anywhere else in Europe for that matter... only a selected handful of people know about our sites.... I go into the Yahoo gaming chat rooms often. People who come in are usually big C&C fans... they've got the internet, but don't know that half these sites exist! It's also patience I find... it can be hard to work your way into a community if you are not aware of the bigger picture. Basically what I mean by that is that if you play a game online and are not aware that many sites like ours exist, you are not going to delve any further. Many people like that just stick around in official forums posting crap all day... Half of the people at Westwood's forums didn't even know that CNCNZ or CNCDEN or PlanetCnC for example existed... and that's bad when you consider how many people there are in a community.

Yeah but had I kept "Area 101" that would have been deemed as crap. In other community's you might see me as "DNA" or "Deeyenay" This was a name inspired from SSX tricky and watching a few extreme sports programs.. You get some Snowboarders with nicknames such as SPUD, SPROUT, SLICK, SLIM, RAGE, OXY-MORON, etc.. I use Deeyenay online for Perimeter and Counterstrike, so if you wanna find me, that's the name you should look for. I like that OXY-MORON as a name as well.... Might use that in future Problem with my name is that I was too focussed on other things at the time and my mind was working overtime... So I chose that name for the sake of a quick solution, instead of sleeping on it and having to make one up.

Unfortunately I can see Aliens being in this game... The scrin will not be left out if the Tiberian Series is persued. Thus we will see Aliens, spaceships, lasers and plasma balls.... it's one of those things that's inevitable. I think this war will take place 20 or so years after Firestorm... say anywhere between 2050 & 2060... This in my mind will allow the Tiberian Series to move on far enough so that the Tiberian Sun Technology is obselete and new technology replaces it.

Myself personally I just spam a bit on Renegade about Renegade Alert & Abumm using the [bR] join messages on certain servers. I'm occassionally in the Yahoo chat gaming rooms. Basically there I say who I am, the site I work for, mention the CNCNZ network and try to get a few extra people visiting our sites. Got one or 2 more people to sign up recently by doing that :wink: I do mine through word of mouth individually rather than mass promotion methods... I like my way think it works well

AVG is made by professionals as well, there is a version you can pay for, that basically allows for quicker scans and more features. At the end of the day I just want something that's gonna remove those damn viruses. As long as it does that and does it well then I don't care what it is.

I think it'll do what EA did to Generals... 3 warring factions. GDI, NOD, Scrin. I dunno how in depth they'll take Tiberian Twilight or whatever they choose to call it, but it'll be the same concept as Generals whereby we have 3 factions fighting against each other all the time. However, it could be possible in my eyes that It may just be 2 sides. GDI & Nod at the end of firestorm merged together to rid cabal... what if they've finally signed a peace treaty and everything appears over, only for Kane to come back, this time on a Scrin MotherShip and attempt to take the world in his real form, since his clones could not do the job right on earth. You'd have on The Brotherhood of Global Defense a side which has both technologies from GDI & Nod.... And then an overwhelmingly powerful Scrin side capable of destroying anything that's thrown at them... That's quite an interesting name for the GDI/NOD alliance... The Brotherhood of Global Defense... I wonder if I can make that stick ...hmmmm

I have no idea Sonic, I've been down with the Flu the last couple of days, and working here and there... haven't had a chance to find out what's going on at Abumm at the moment.... Afrog2, make sure if you're gonna do anything fancy then ask Sonic first. Although I made a flash site and Sonic wasn't sure. Sonic did give me the benefit of the doubt on that occassion and was quite pleased with the result.. If you can't get hold of Sonic and I'm online, then clear it with me instead before proceeding. We have limits on free hosting such as Gamingsource.... Some actions could potentially cause a massive bandwidth surge That'll knock out CNCNZ, and CNCDEN aswell.. if something happens like it did to Gamers Pulse.... That's just one of the reasons.
